... Are all you connections tight? I think you might want to go to a shop and have them reinstall it bro, it's $30-$50 bucks well spent in your case.

ECU reflash? because you didnt let the car idle or learn or the breathe the CAI correctly?

you shoud have left it idling for 5-10 mins and slowly driver it harder and harder so the ECU can learn its new limits on breathing better

make sure all your clamps are tight ...make sure the MAF is clipped in securely and u should be good to go...and try resetting the ecu with the battery off for 15 mins or so ...

not to be harsh, but from your posts it doesn't look like you know your car well or what you're really doing. i mean, i'm not really one to talk, but yeah... The forums are good for quick answers because everyone's so helpful, but a lot of things can be learned by reading yourself and a lot of problems can be eliminated by installing things properly the first time.

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, wait about 15 minutes, and then put it back on. This will get the light to go away. After you do this you will have to hold the power window button for the passenger side down for ten seconds then up for ten seconds to let the computer know what is up and what is down. You will also have to do this for the sunroof.

disconnect the negative battery terminal and open the drivers door.

tighten it back down and do the procedure for the windows.

its not in our manual no.

you could take it to autozone and have them check the CEL and clear it for free

I think he meant to say shifts just over 3k rpms, which means he would have an automatic tc ...why would you cai a automatic i dont know !?!? ahh peoples these days, but yea it sounds like like your, we will call them hoses (the black rubber things stamped with injen) arent properly placed on the throttle body thats why you have whistling in the back, or you punctured it somehow?

heres a suggestion,
Take it to autozone and get the code its giving you, then come back here and post the code
most definately if you dont feel like getting that done for free, take it to a shop and spend the hours labor before you break something!

What's the problem with putting a CAI in an automatic?

because more often than not, CAI gains are at high end on the rpm, and automatics always shift well before this power gain. so adding a CAI is almost pointless, if not counterproductive to your tuning.

the whistle is coming from one of the connections not being tightened down properly so check all connections. That could also be why the light is coming on.

when i switched to stock for a little while i did it quickly and did not tighten the hose properly to the engine body. the hose came loose, the light came on, and my car stalled out.

also be sure to reset the computer when you are finished with everything.

autos will shift in relation to how hard your foot is on the pedal. It will shift anywhere between 2200 to redline. cold air does make most of it's gains above 3500 so when you want the power push the pedal down further. I have heard cai hurts torque but when you floor it, the auto shifts down any ways into the high rpm. you have nothing to worry about. and yeah reset the ecu and check the couplings.
