View Full Version : help deciding on what to do to the tC
bluelightning 07-06-2005, 12:28 AM i will be coming into some money, (selling my honda b18 engine) to go hog wild on the ride ive already decided to lower and put strut bars, but should i be the first tc in the group with carbon fiber hood or, headers exhaust and intake, or be the first to do cams.
bryoninscion 07-06-2005, 12:55 AM Carbon fiber would look sick on flint mica!
RockBlocker 07-06-2005, 01:15 AM Yes it would look nice, Bryon!! It wont stay looking nice without wrapping it in some plastic like are going to do. The sun here will fade the crap out the CF within a year.
bsp_tC 07-06-2005, 04:33 AM I would ditch the other items and go for the exhaust.

How about "CAMELBACK SCION" (in black) running between the fenderwells on the ground effects?
Maybe in outlines?
Maybe?
RockBlocker 07-06-2005, 01:36 PM It might be shameless, but it is also very true statement. :P

Chad I'm glad you brought this up. I was seriously thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood myself except I'm loosing faith in getting in wrapped in a timely fasion, due to the fact that that my ground effects should have been done like three months ago
malina 07-06-2005, 04:00 PM carbon fiber blows. Get intake, headers etc. Chico will give you a good deal at Vivid.
Matixten 07-06-2005, 06:32 PM I wouldn't go to Vivid, I think versus will help you with a good deal right Malina.. Ha Ha
j/k vivid seems to be the source for the scion community I just talk to john yesterday that I considering getting.
malina 07-06-2005, 06:40 PM Versus, LOL. What a joke.

Keep dreaming, I gave you Sarah and you wasted t away
bluelightning 07-07-2005, 01:11 AM what if instead of wrapin it i put a clear coat on it. it shouldn't fade then should it.

They have a clear coat on them already and that is what fades so badly. I had a CF hood on the last car and even though I waxed it all the time, the hood still faded. At least if the clear bra fades it can be replaced cheaper than repainting a CF hood
