Hey guys, i want more power for my car, especially since i just got this car i want it to start off really fast. So which is the better air kit, the injen? weapon r? or k&n typhoon?

they will all do the same and no intake is going to produce any more hp than the other. an intake adds 5hp at the most. don't expect to feel any change at all. all u'll get is a little different sound and it looks purdy in the engine bay.

 

so when it says it will add at least 25 hp guaranteed, they lie?

Usually numbers that high are the intake w/ a full exhaust set up (Intake header, Exhaust)

 

and with those three u still won't see 25hp. 10 from the header, 5 from intake, and 3-5 for the exhaust.

 

are they trying to sell a intake or a supercharger? lol

A turbocharger is your best bet. For 2800 bucks you can get a pretty good one. With intake and header and exhaust you won't be pumping all that much more power although the pickup is undeniably better. The issue is of course, how much better. It'll also be extremely loud - if you search for it there's a video of a tC with i/h/e and it's pretty damn loud. I don't mind the sound by some people might. It's a hellava lot of sound for performance that probably won't even let you beat a stock v6 accord.

 

well that sux, i dont like that much of noise. i'd have to save a lot of money for a supercharger, but does the header make a lot of noise if i just buy that? or would it be better for me to buy the intake?

 

also, if i buy the intake from ebay, do i need any supplies to put on the intake? cuz it comes with the bolts and screws and stuff, and the clamp. thats all i would need right?
