hey guys Im confused on which springs to buy to lower my Xb .I have heard some are not lowering both the front and rear to the same level . and I would like to get some but want the Xb at the same height on all 4 corners.
If you can help me out and if possible post a link to the company you think is best.
thanks Ko

I'm going with TRD. 2 reason's. You don't have to worry bout warrenty issues if Scion installs them and 2 it is a decent ride and it's not to low if used for everyday driving.

US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle.
tein s tech got about a 1.8inch drop and a nice smooth ride

I like, make that love my Goldlines. I still am amazed at how it has changed the way my box handles. I haven't driven on any other springs except stock so couldn't compare but I got a nice 2"drop all around and Bill ( http://www.scionlife.com?scionspecialistvegas ) can totally hook you up for a good price.
When it comes down to it, it doesn't seem like there's gonna be that much difference between the different leading brands if they are all using roughly the same tension rates and such. If you poke thru the forums you'll see every brand has those that love it and those that hate it and every once in a while, people will have an actual reason...

KO RACER I just go the Tein S- Tech springs out on my car. They lower 1.7 in the front, 1.5 in the back but you cant notice the difference in height. They ride great and lower the car without sacraficing ride quality. The TRD drop was just not enough for me and i got the TEINS ( a well respeted company ) for $176 shipped from optionimports.com. I would recomend these springs to anyone. Hope this helps!

GOLDLINES!!!! I love them even drop no gap with 215/35/18s smoothed out the stock ride and gets nice and tight for the corners... Bill in vegas is the man to get em from... Mine wer $160 deliverd to FL!! I was told Goldline is a fairly nex Co. started by some Eibach guys that split.. 2" drop all around no squatty rear..no sag garuntee..
Van imported them from Japan. It seems that the Japanese have figured out that 55mm lower than stock height is about as low as you want to go before you would need to switch to either air or a short stroke coilover setup.
Incedentally, I might be selling my 5Zigen springs when I switch to coilovers (or air) so if anybody is interested, let me know. Don't have an exact date yet.
Peace,

The quality and ride of most spring are all very close. It comes down to matter of choice. I Sell goldlines, I run goldlines, and recommend them, I have installed seven sets 5 xb's, two honda's and everyone liked them, I want to thank all of my customers who have given mucho props. If you posed the question what springs are you running Goldline would probably have the majority. Bill

Really? Wow. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I always thought the majority of people who are @ 2 inches lower that stock were running Spy's.

i suppose i'm the idiot that you are refering too. i'm not sure why you get so upset when someone has a different opinion then you... lets keep the personal attacks out of informational forms. having a different opinion doesn't make you an idiot...
the ride is MUCH worse in MY xB with the tein s.techs - both on stock wheels and on my 16x7s. again, if i was looking for springs i would want to hear all opinions, not just those that agree with you, scionxb04.

If anyone thinks they are going to get a better ride by using aftermarket springs you are very wrong. They will help the handling of the vehical . It will not make the ride more confortable . So if you think this is the way you rate performance of artermarket suspension you dont know crap. Confort is the last thing on the list. Stay with the stock springs they were made for comfort.

i totally disagree... the stock springs are abit too stiff and very bouncy on the freeways. After getting my Goldlines... the difference in comfort was obvious. Goldlines have softer spring rate ... the ride is much smoother than stock. I don't know if you have a Scion xB or not...but from many people's experience...the aftermarket springs ride nicer and smoother over stock. My xB couldn't be more comfortable after installing the aftermarket springs.
I know toyota isn't using top-notch springs on the Scions in order to keep the cost low. I can tell you this cuz I used to have a 4 runner ...which the stock shocks were made by Tochiko...very low grade shocks. After installing Bilstein shocks..the ride was a world of a difference.
