Default Chrome Door Sill Enhancements--What's the Deal?

Well, I finally got my $50 gift card. I'm trying to decide between sport pedals, a rear bumper applique, and the chrome door sill enhancements. I'm wondering about the door sill enhancements--I know they're basically stick-on metal, but where exactly do they go? My XB has plastic protectors on the door sills (a 2 inch wide strip of black plastic)--do you have to remove those to put the metal ones on? Your wisdom on a good gift card purchase choice is welocme, as well....

they stick over the plastic ones. I used my giftcard for the carbon fiber look bra. another good use of the card would be the oem arm rest

hotbox...thanks for the quick response. I really don't need the armrest, although I have friends who wonder how I can drive without one. So the chrome goes OVER the plastic? Is there a lump in the middle?

by chrome piece you mean the brushed aluminum one right? lemme see a pic so i dont make an idiot out of myself. if it's the brushed one in a chrome version yeah it just sticks over the smaller step plate part with double sided adhesive.

I think he is talking about these:

DON'T by the OBX Pedals. They feel so cheap and look it as well. I got some MOMO pedals for just as much and are 10x better in feel and looks.

Go the applique.

I have the door sill enhancements on my box, and they just two way tape to the stock plastic ones. I really enjoy mine and they look a lot better than the stock black plastic.

Yah, the door sill enhancements, just stick on over the plastic ones that are already in place. They're simple to put on, and there are no "bumps" or anything.
