That's the first time I have seen the motor without the cover, so that's what it looks like. Are you running without the cover, or is it just off for the installation? And it's nice to see the Western Atlantic Scion owners with a lively discussion going.
I want to add a ground kit and then wrap all the wires and hoses I can with red tubbing. A couple of Scion Evolution guys out here on the Eastern Pacific have color coded, wrapped or covered almost every detail and that's a cool and easy way to make the motor stand out. Maybe they will see this thread and post photos so you can take a look. Also check out Randode's cathay light tubes for under dash and under car, that's cool also. Randode can be reached @TeamScionWest.com.

look good. how does it feel?

i wish i had a digi cam so i could show yu guys how i did my ground wires. i ran most of the wiring under the engine cover so that it looks more clean. im hella pround of it. haha.

Someone you know must have a digital camera, I want to see what it looks like.
What about the heat build-up on the wiring over the motor, just wondering?

kdawg what do you mean what it looks like? see the pics above?

well first thing i noticed this morning when turning on the defroster
the rpm did not budge up as it used to. it was cold over here.

last night i did noticed that the interior light is a little brighter
and it hasnt flickered when you press on the gas. (from dead stop to go)

let me drive it for week to see if there are other changes.

hnfredo groundfusion sells the groundkit with different colors

I took the yellow since i never had it before.
and I do like it!

and did i say I like the THICK Wires???????

i am developing the Randode 4g ground wires. I have the prototype on my cherry xB and like it was stated above, the tach stays completely still, no more fluctuations. So far, so good!

Id like to see a vendor post some charts of voltage fluctuations before/after this mod.

like this tachometer claim for instance, tap into the RPM wire, graph its readings over a minute. Do the ground mod, do it again.

then we can see if anything really changed

Happies sells kits for $40. Here is a pic of the way Rhobz and Simplified Scion hooked the wires
up to the negative terminal with a new connector ($5). I like the setup because the wires do not drape
and rub over anything.

Here is a diagram for teh Happies kit. Mine is installed a little differently, tho:

If you plan on entering your vehicle in a car show, do not get red. Ground wires are always supposed to be black.
Red wires signify positive. So they deduct points for red ground wires, but not so much for other colors.
