I just want to see how low it looks with the trd kit.....getting my TC soon and I want to get the kit off the lot but not sure if I want to get the TRD springs off the lot too and then regret not holding out for the Tein springs because I wanted to go lower....pics please

1. theres no TRD body kit, its just a cheap kit made by scion that looks good.

2. u gotta give time for people to reply to threads, this isn't instant messaging on AOL.

3. do a search i remember someone has the kit and is on teins and im sure theres a lot of people with trd + kit.

 

 

love the whole car and the HKS exhaust. Just wished it wasnt on backorder right now.

 

hey GRAVEL, if you dont mind.....could you measure how much inches away is the ground to the middle of the headlight housing???...



if your wondering why its because here in hawaii we have this thing called "RECON" and it applies to any car that is modified.....if your suspension is modified, then the middle of the headlight has to be 22" off the ground and the bottom of your front license plate has to be 12" from the ground..and you have to pass a bounce test of 2"......yes really really messed up requirements

 

to the middle of the headlight in this pic as i measured right now on level ground its.....25 inches and 12 inches to the bottom of thelicense plate...imagenray fron liscence plate LOL

Gravel thats exactly what Im talking about.....how are you with scraping? still looks like it can go over plenty of speed bumps and steep driveways.... ......looks great though man....good work.....I come from slammed trucks and I wanted to see how this tc would look with a simple kit and ok drop....not too low anymore for me!!! but that looks perfect....TRD kit or Oem kit whatever its called seems like im very interested in getting it....love the tc with it....yeah it doesnt add much but for some reason I like the simple but clean look...

 

i was rather suprised with how well it rides. its not bumpy at all and its really smooth.As far as the scapping, its very minamal. Only on very step grades and extreme speed bumps. other than that i clear all speed bumps. its 3 inches taller than the 22 inch mark with they use in california as well. i hate cops.. thats why i am i firefighter.

 

I told someone I got a tC a few months ago. He asked me if I got the TRD edition. I told him they don't make one. But he argued with me for like 5 minutes on it...

 

Well when i was getting my car they kept refering to the pedestal spoiler as the trd spoiler. So i guess i understand how there is some confusion.
