So it turn's out the dealership didnt do the prep properly

Didn't they do a walkthrough with you before you took posession? I believe every dealer is supposed to.

I must say though... I love that wheel. Even if it didn't have the audio controls on it, I love the matching trim.

Just took a quick look and did the paperwork as it was late (9:00pm)

 

Mine came the EXACT same way! I was so ticked! And to top it off, they didn't have any spare stereos on the lot! I had to wait 2 days for a new one. (They said it would take a week, but I b*&^%$# & moaned and got one sooner.) Hate to see it happened to you also. At least you have a slick ride!

 

hmm, if mine comes that way I wonder if I could have them just install my alpine instead.. haha..

 

yeah it is a shame of going back and all.
But the only thing im bummed about is not getting to put in my phillips 120 20gig mp3 player into my aux input located in the middle console :D

A mean the car leaves the factory with no head unit.
And the stealership is supposed to hook it up when they take delivery
So yeah they fooked up

 

Exact thing happened to me with the headunit, and they gave me sh*t about it when i demanded they put one in then, they said they didnt have one avalible and would have to order one and would be there in 4 days. I told them im not going to deal with that and had them grab the stereo out of the tC they didnt sell and throw it in mine.

Btw: im hoping that is what happened to you because your pics arent coming up any more in firefox or IE, i figured it out by what others replyed with.

 

check everything else over, all fluids, tire pressure...

they may have f-ed that up too
