Default strut bar

again, as in all my posts to date, I'm just looking for your opinion

after seeing how much rims cost, I decided to put that aside and opt for something cheaper. right now I'm looking to install a $50 strut bar, and I was just wondering if anyone here has done so already.
Is it easy to install?
Is it worth $50?
Does it really effect how the car handles?

again, thanks for any input.
