I am now a three-day owner of a new 2005 Xb and am adding line-in using the P.I.E. TOY03-AUX for my iPod. I plan to power it from the car's 12V, using something like the Sik Imp or the Monster version using a hidden extra cig lighter socket, so that there would only be one wire visible, the dock connector. (There might be some wire length issues that forces use of a particular brand).

For those who have done this, any problems with ground loops or DC noise? (And if so, do you have any hints/solutions for the problem you had).
