There is a fantastic weekend brunch at the Columbia river doubletree on the Vancouver side. It used to be call "the inn at the Quey(sp)". I think a good place to meet is over by the Costco in Vancouver off of Padden Parkway west. Across the street is a Krispe Kreme and or there is a new Subway and Starbucks as well, other food posibilites are the Wendys or Costco Dogs, Every one loves costco dogs. Let me know what you think.

I work up in Vancouver, have a huge parking lot we could use to take some photos... which I would like...
Elmers is right next door.... My office and elmers are right near the intersection of SR500 and Andresen.
HERE's THE Google Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=NE+40th+at+Andresen,+Vancouver,+WA+98661&spn=0.022030,0.039710&hl=en)
How's that sound? It's a bit north, but could help the Vancouver's and WA's out a bit this time at least.... PLUS..... It's fast and REALLY easy to get to... all roads are 55+.
If you are going together, that makes it nice, cause you only got to drive the freeways the whole way and not worry about losing people at lights.

Modifications: Minor or very little :\ (not rich)

-K&N CAI
-Fog lights from the manufacturers (WHICH I TOTALLY REGRET! If you're thinking about getting some go AFTER MARKET!).

Future Mods: Will most likely be header replacement and overall car handling (I want to be able to take the junction at HWY 26 going to HWY 217 S pretty fast, it calls for 30 MPH I belive, I can take it at 45-50, I want to see if I can push it to 60 :D)

Well, sorry I missed everyone. I was on a business trip and got home from the airport very late last night and overslept. Arrived at Elmer's around 10:30.
I am on vacation next week so I will put the finishing touches on my Astoria plan when I return.
I was thinking Sunday the 16th? Just a nice cruise from Beaverton to Astoria over the old fishback highway. Its a beautiful drive very popular with the motorcycle crowd because of the winding wooded roads. It takes us right by the Elk preserves with lots of viewing stops to see these magnificent creatures in the wild. I was thinking we could do a photo op up by the column (a shot of the cars from the top might be cool) then lunch and cruise home.
Any thoughts?

Sorry pdxbubba I am not sure what you mean? Last Saturday we were at the Cornell Krispy Kreme from 4 to 6:30pm.
The next meet will be breakfast at elmers in vancouver 10 am. When were you looking for us?

folks were talking about meeting someplace there in portland and cruz'n up to elmers. Is this still a "thought"? OR, does everyone live too far apart to meet at one location to be realistic?

You could meet us beaverton folk somewhere..... 217 & 26 area... a little out of your way.... or we could meet downtown, then head out to vancouver...

Where would you like to meet up for the cruz over to Elmer's on the 7th? Somewhere along I-5 like Tualatin might be good for quick on and off the freeway access. Or you could come up 217 and we meet at canyon or something.

Why don't we meet at Jantzen Beach Burger King.
It seems easier then you coming all the way out here then back into town, then out to Vancouver.
If this okay with all us.
Take the Jantzen beach exit. Burger King is right there.
We can get back on right there and head out to Elmer's.
Around 9:15, leave BK at 9:45 at the latest.
I will PM you my Cell Number.

Okay, First trip to Elmer's in 2006! I will stop and wait at the Safeway parking lot just off the Jantzen Beach exit at 9:30 am. I know Kelly said BK but you can't see the freeway ramp from there. I should be visible just as you come down the ramp in the right lane. When singleshot arrives we will cruise on up to Elmer's. I am hoping to discuss ideas for events in the coming year so everyone try and make it.

I just stood in the rain washing the weeks worth of grit off my car, debating the whole time on whether or not to put my wheels back on (I HATE SNOW TIRES AND STEEL WHEELS).. My laziness won over.. So I guess steel wheels rock right now..
