Well, my xB made it to Germany fine except that the lower lip on the front bumper got scratched and dented (not sure how poly dents, but it did!) Will the lower lip seperate from the rest of the bumper or am I going to have to replace the whole front bumper? If I have to replace it, I may just upgrade to a custom piece. Any help would be great!!

Think I've seen aftermarket carbon fiber lips that replace the stock one so I'm assuming the stock lip just detaches. Anyone know for sure??

The lower lip detaches from the main section of the bumper. I think it is around 10 bolts to get the whole bumper off and detach the lower lip.
Have you tried popping the dent out? Do you have pics?

Hell yeah!! You'd score like 100,000,000,000 points for pics of the box on the Autobahn.

Had to drive over 6 hours on the Autobahn to pick up the xB. Drove about 90 MPH all the way home....did well. Of course I didn't see the damage until I washed it the next day, but now that gives me the opportunity to get the CF lip. Anyone have links to a site that sells it?? Thanks!! Pics will be up soon, both in a scenic location and hopefully on the Autobahn!! I'll try to take one in front of a castle or something cool like that. Thanks everyone!

Called Universal Toyota in San Antonio, TX and they are going to order me a pre-painted lip and the passenger grill section that fell out today (didn't know it was loose from the impact) and ship it here to germany for $385. That's about like buying the CF piece which I would have done if someone would have answered a phone at the six places I called. The guy at Universal Toyota was great....give him some business.

I am in Bitburg, Germany. Near the oldest town in Germany Trier. I am enjoying the culture and scenery, can't beat history.
