Alright everyone, talked to Fiber Images this morning and they have been thinking about a hood with a scoop on it. The SRT-4 scoop! It looks pretty good. It will have the scoop and all the underside ducting on it. The only thing is that we need to get at least 10 orders for them in order for it to become a reality. I'm #1 so if you're interested, post your reply cuz I'm going to forward this post to them. I should find out the price Tues. or Weds. of next week and will keep everyone up to date on the news :D :D :D

I don't think the xB would look nice with a scooped hood. It takes away from the lack of aerodynamics of the box. Also, it'd probably be a bit ricey since it would not be functional...

Fiber Images hasn't let me know the price as of yet but it would be a GROUP buy. We need at least 10 and from the looks of it, we possibly have 7. If the group buy doesn't do it, I can promise you guys that I can sell it to you at Dealers wholesale price! For a fact, It won't be retail. I'll call again today to see if they came up with a price and let you know. :D

I would think it could help Blitz ram intake drivers and be somewhat functional...
I was wondering if the scoop design is locked in or not, if that Photoshopped picture is an example, it kind of looks weird IMO, maybe too curvy and obvious in a ho hum kind of way...

With that being said, I can't wait to see what the finished/installed product would look like and also if one would be avilable in factory colors :wink: !

yeah i am down with the scoop on top maybe with some blue frosting, but i think no color options are going to be available.
If it isnt too much throw me on the list----I am still debating on what to buy next so that might be next

oooh, one that's functional.. That WOULD be cool :). I saw a carbon hood for the first time the other day. They look very very nice. I would love to see one of these colored carbon hoods sometime.

I agree with MR.Thundercloud on this one, a style like this would be cooooo......

The Srt- scoop is too round or something, also considering the whole car has hard square edges...... :wink:
