I think the color is actually brighter than those posted in pics. I don't think I would want it to be an brighter.

ok, ok my mistake. went back to the dealer today and got a second glimps of the rs1.
my god it had to have been in the best light possible. it was beutiful, sitting there in front of all other scions stealing all the light. i take back anything negitive that i may have said. the sun really makes these cars come alive. well worth the wait.

My dealer got a RS1.0 and sold it immediatly . He was suprised with the color also.. I was not as bright. He called it a burnt orange, I think i looks better, I was afraid that it would be like BLING . But it was a REALLY nice orange

Yeah, I noticed in the pictures it seems to be sorta like a hyperblack on orange. That's fine with me, doesn't need to be a traffic cone imo.

IMHO, thumbs down. Reminds me of the Pontiac Vibe, Murano, and other orange looking cars. Also it's a possible keyed victim. I can easily see someone key-ing the RS1.0. Too much risk. But to all his own though, mine is neutral color like most cars but the shape of the box gives it's uniqueness, not the color.

The orange seems much darker than that of the fake RS1 at the auto show... perhaps it was just the floresent lights verus the daylight.

I like the darker orange myself, the brighter orange looked too goofy and like some out of the neon trend of the eariler 90's.

Just my opinion.

that is what i'm worried about. i live in an apartment complex full of college kids right next to campus. don't get me wrong i party and all but its an everyday occurance to see kids falling up against cars in the parking lot. the 2nd day i put real tags on my diamante the tags were stollen. _____ ___ haters. my biggest concern is keeping my new wheels on the hot lava. i need some good wheel locks etc. any ideas would be helpful. but all in all my dealer claims my 5spd should be in on monday (i have complete VIN# and everything) hope this is it. getting tired of waiting. to those who have not seen the RS1 in person, or have doubts about getting the color this is what i've come up with. $980 for RS1 and options = great deal. RS1 color is straight up sick to death.
