This is likely 'old news' to many of you, but I'm excited about my new found use for old wiper blades.
This xB has way too many 'bug catchers'. So, an inovative technique had to be found to get the car truly clean. Aside from the pressure washer which works fine except when your conserving water from the home well.
Anyway, quite by accident I found the used wiper blades to be more than adequate at getting into all those crevices. Every place two pieces meet either collects dirt or housed whats left of bugs. The rubber protected blade works safely and efficiently for all such places. It works well in the grill openings too - just put as many wraps of a cotton cloth around the end.
