Just curious to see what's going on out there in the world of forced induction preorders.

By "Order pending feedback from any kit" I mean you have money ready to burn on whoever's kit sounds best after people have received their kits.

Check the last option "Received" if you have received or otherwise had installed your forced induction setup.

I hope more F/I people participate in this poll - it'd serve as a good visual aide for these guys.

I personally think this is all a big scheme. There is no Scionspeed, no ZPI. Pretty soon, Dezod will appear fishy and someone will reveal their shady past. Turbonetics doesn't really exist and there's no such thing as a T3/4 hybrid.. there's a T3 and a T4 and nothing in between. GReddy is actually a sport shoes company that has nothing to do with cars. The actual name is gReDDy.

One day, this will all be revealed to the public (don't ask me how I found out, I'd have to kill you) and when that day comes, the TRD SUPER DUPER CHARGER will come out.


Edit: Icecream DOES have bones. It's just really creamy so it's hard to tell. I'd go so far as to say that TRD is actually a government funded program to boost the economy using these false turbo companies to make TRD look better. I KNOW! I can reveal that I found a government study that kids who liked forced induction will make up the backbone of all consumers and buyers in the next twenty years which is when the s/c comes out. As far as icecream having bones, well, you can decide how it's relevant.

Hello all. This is my first post here but I decided to share the info I had about the TRD Supercharger. I went to my Scion dealership in town (Scion South if anyone else is in KY) to get my carpet mats replaced and I asked the salesman I got the car from about the TRD Supercharger and he said that the TRD guys said that it's scheduled for release in September and that they (the local dealership) is even about to start taking orders for them. I also asked him if there was any horsepower numbers out yet and he said that they told him to expect from 200-220 at the crank. Now whether or not TRD is really gonna follow through idk considering it was supposed to come out last September, o wait I mean April, I mean :lalala: lol, Hope this helps.

That information really does not help, sorry. Dealers and salesmen really are not in the know about concrete information. Why? I believe it is because TRD is not in the know either so.. There's no way a dealer can know more than a supplier.

wat i really meant was that everyone has put so much money into development of these kits and it has caused so much excitement and problems that the companies decided not to release them becuase its jus going to be more of a _____ to sell them because its already been a _____ developing and tryin to get it out.

for example: SS, they posted about there turbo kit, delaly delay flames and more flames and more delay. where is SS now? i dunno

ZPI? they been pretty trustworthy and im not sure if they released their's yet but they have been lagging with stuff too.

i hear dezod is starting a kit. make sure you do legit business with the manufactures because that has been a problem with the other companies.

While I am not a big fan of the turbo the dezod kit is using, it will do fine at low boosts. The problem is they typically don't boost until a little higher in the band, all that can be changed through specs but sometimes it reduces total HP and efficency. We'll see how it works out. I am excited to see the total price, kit and dyno. And I know Joe will put together quality pieces at a good price. I bet it won't be the lowest priced, but it will look and perform good for the money.

Whatever new company is going to come on the forum and hype people up about their product would win the poll. In fact most of the people "considering" turbo kits will never get it. Most of you have no idea how many kids will talk on the forum about buying something expensive just to talk about it and feel like they are a part of something. Those same kids will call up the manufacturer and retailer and ask 100 questions about the product just to waste their time, or talk ____ about it not even trying it out. This poll won't give you any real idea on what is going on.

That may be - I put "considering" because to my knowledge Dezod isn't doing preorders. Just trying to cover bases.

We won't be doing pre-orders until our kits are completely finished and the pipes are done. The pre-orders are only to give Turbonetics enough time to build all of our custom turbos for the car. Once that's done, everything else is ready to go.

BTW - Thanks for everyone's support, I'm glad we're keeping people interested.

bump, I know more than 9 ppl reordered the ZPI kit

I know more than 3 ordered ScionSpeed too.

My dealership told me that the TRD supercharger will be released in September as well. They have a release date already and are taking preorders. they also said you can buy it with your car but you can't finance the supercharger. I asked for imformations sake because i have an xB.

Since TRD is now owned by toyota I wouldn't be surprised that the info dealers are giving on this is correct.
