I can totally drive RHD cars. I drove a Porsche 952 and
loved it. Somehow didn't phase me at all to shift left handed.

I hope you enjoy your box! I'm glad it wasn't as big of an
issue getting it as it would be to get a Japanese box to the US!

Welcome aboard, Stu!! Both my parents were born and raised in the UK and I have an uncle in London. Keep us up to date on the xB scene across the pond...

How many xB's are in the UK? You might be the quickest xB because you're the only xB Seriously, congrats and post some pics when you get a chance. You also need one of these decals for the back window.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7981424823

There are only 3 xBs in this country which makes them pretty rare as the country is not much smaller than somewhere like florida. Mine came from West Covina Scion in Cali. Problem is no one over here has a clue about them

I'd say more of an advantage, not a problem.

What's up bro....

I finally made it over here to London about 2 months ago.... found a nice flat in Richmond with a parking space, and now I need to fill it!

How hard was it to get an xB over here to the U.S.? Did you have to pay an enormous amount of VAT or import tax on your box? Have you met any of the other Scion owners in the UK?

Let me know dude!

Hey Englishman,

How come you did not order the real thing direct from Japan instead?? You could have a JDM bB with the steering wheel in the right position rather then a xB driving on the wrong side.... kekkeee...

Exactly what I was going to ask. But Hey!!! Who says which is the REAL thing. They are all the REAL thing just slightly different BRO! It's not Our fault Toyota decided to give you guys the first chance to own them
But yeah, wouldn"t it have been just as easy to import a bB from Japan and have the RHD also? Had to ask

to import a car from japan into the uk it has to have a model report which costs a few thousand pounds. because there are no bBs already here i would have to pay for the report and send the car to be tested to make sure it meets the uk standards. this would mean some parts being tested to destruction..... Most japanese cars imported here have a Uk equivalent already here or are imported in large numbers by traders who can afford to do it.

This is not the case for the xB as U.S standards are seen as equal to Uk ones.

Also the speedo would need changing from KPH to MPH, the radio frequency may need to be changed and the fuel filler neck may also need altering to meet Uk spec. Very boring i know but you did ask......
Oh I cant speak or read japanese either. It was just easier to get one from USA.

God this reply is dull, im not that boring really.
