I was playing around with photoshop, trying different looks for my BCP xA. Which one do you like the best?

#1. As Is

#2. Subtle blackout

#3. Black grill

#4. Black headlights & badge

#5. Black hood & grill

#6. Chrome grill

#7. Chrome grill with black hood

I like the way the carbon fiber hoods look on them, that is the way I'm leaning.

black hood, but leave the emblem as is.

the black would probably look better if the color of the rest of your car wasn't BCP :D

eh, im not liking much of what I see.... maybe you should get a body kit and then figure out some paint with the new lines from the kit.

I never liked the whole black hood thing. To me, it looks like you've been in a wreck and you don't have the money to get your replacement parts painted to match your car. Of the choices you posted, I like "as is" the best.

why not get a new grille? all those are pretty ugly..... so i dont see why you wouldnt consider buying the RS 1.0 grille or something
just my 2 cents.

agreed. i think that carbon hood with painted sides would look pretty good with the RS1 grille.

then again, we are both RS1 owners and are very biased towards our cars' style... but still! i think its the best looking grille out there for the xA.

Yeah, unfortunately I kind of agree with you, Psyco565. I had some ideas for some cheap mods that might look good. Then, once I did it in Photoshop, I didn't really like some, and others just didn't work. But then, that's the whole idea--it's better to try things digitally so I don't spend a boatload of money on something that looks like crap once it's installed.

And, yes, I could buy a grill or a body kit, but then my car wouldn't be unique. I want something that nobody else has. I know that's a little stupid right now, since there are thousands of BCP xAs that look just like mine. Eh, what else can you do.

photoshop is a great tool for finding out what may or may not look good on your car!

well, you can always go with a different grille and do the hood thing.. cause thats what is really going to set you apart. but yeah that grille is just not working too well changed any sort of color. what about the carbon hood painted like that and then some eyelids?

Yep. But not just cars! I've used it to decide what color shingles and shutters to put on my house.

I have to agree with whoever said they don't like the black hoods and that it looks like you'd been in a wreck. I've seen some cars with different colored hoods, mainly black and I've seriously always assumed it was a replacement and they hadn't gotten the chance to repaint yet! JMO

I am all for keeping as much stock as possible. I just think they look a whole lot "cleaner" without a bunch of different little "bolt ons". Rims and custom paint should be your goal if you are really looking to customize.

Trya 2.0 grill and paint the bottom strip on it to match. Everything else you showed there wasn't exactly showcar material.

Default now with the Ist grill...

Well, it was tough getting it to fit, but here it is, the black Ist grill in my BCP xA....

The lighting doesn't match, but it's not bad. It just looks like the stock xA witha different emblem shape. So where can I get one?

I can't tell the difference between number 1 and 2.

You are asking for a vote, so if you ask for my vote, I like 1/2. This car looks great stock and slammed, with a kit.

I wouldn't do anything til you get that water leak fixed ....

What if you were to make the lower grille stainless?....Both grilles on my daughter's tC are stainless and it looks pretty good...
