i like the sprays. look good and last a lifetime. they also don't hinder the light output as much imo.

most people use the overlays though.

not really worried about the money. the ones i got for my vw only cost like $25, but in any case what "spray" are you talking about.

go on ebay and do a search for tail light tint spray or smoke spray or whatever. it'll pop up for sure. as for what brand to use, they all work the same. don't worry about it. look for the biggest can you can get because if you like the look, you can do your tail lights, headlights, whatever.

it's basically a translucent paint that can be used on plastics. the more you use, the darker the plastic gets. keep in mind, darker might look better, but it will affect the visibility of your lights. a little goes a long way anyways.

i've used it on several cars, my own included, and think it does an amazing job. and best of all, you can take it off if you ever want to lose the look. a little paint thinner and you're back to stock.

I thought everybody was talking about the side blinker thing (that is currently yellow).

I'm clearing how the headlights later. Nothing better than a cheap mod than a free one!

moved !?! this is were i originally posted so i don't know where it was moved from/to. anyway i was talking about the side marker lenses on the front bumper (not the signal lamps, tail lights, head lights) so i'm not sure how well smoked paint is going to work on yellow tinted plastic. i thought for sure with all the modification going on here, some company would have manufactured clear &/or smoked marker lenses. alot of other cars (vw, honda, subaru) have these available, so i thought scion or an aftermarket company would have already thought of this. guess i'll just keep looking around. thanks anyway.

Are they the same as the side marker lights on xB's? If so you can find them on ebay, clear and smoked.
Or you could just shave them like I did. :D
