Default 137.54hp Super Charged xB DYNO sheet posted....

Well all I can say is wow. The only change from my dyno of 120hp at the is a hi-flow cat. I also added a Cam-Con. It has helped with the low end I lost by changing out my whole exhaust. Now I am going to upgrade my injectors. As you can see I am still running lean. I may get a rear O2 eliminator to help throw some more fuel. I should have a little bit of higher numbers when the weather cools down. Hotter than hot here makes for crappy dyno runs. 98 degrees with 29% humidity. I may end up running a SMT7 to over ride the factory mass air flow sensor. This morning I pulled my mass air flow sensor and it made a big difference. I could tell it was throwing more fuel.

um you mean 136.33 - 137.54

that is unless you have a real way to test power loss thru the friction of the transmission. which i highly doubt.

either way. all people i know judge cars by whp.

I agree... unless the motor comes out and goes on an engine dyno, there is no true way to rule on drivetrain loss...

ding ding! agreed.

nonetheless even with 137whp, sweet numbers that i could only dream of having!

btw you should probably edit that subject line to at least say "160bhp dyno posted"

good luck with the next mods!

Default Dyno

I had posted before the percentage because I kept getting PMs about how much power at the crank. Also, if somebody can find me the wheel hp on a stock xB. Even Erics post on the xB engines specs only has engine hp not wheel hp.

Well, if you want to pull an engine out and find out the hps that way....you're not really finding out the hp on a real car now are you? last time i checked, you cant ride around on an engine that is hanging on the lift. you could, but then you'd need a transmission, some wheels, steering and a place to sit. oh wait, thats what a car is. a car that has ALMOST as much whp as a stock tC! ah, dave...bring it on buddy!

Default S/C

$50 per 1hp for me. You have to know where to get deals. $1600 in S/C $325 Cam-Con $125 hi-flow cat $125 full custom exhaust $100 header.
