Default Grounding Kit + Other Mods (56k beware)

Got my grounding kit today and I installed it, though it didnt let me close my hood the first time, I just modded it so that it would (used some washers under the circle thing instead of the cylinder it comes with). I fixed up all the loose wires from the under carriage neon kit and some other random wires from the amp and what not. I also took a pic of my pedals and my white reading leds. I am getting my TWM Stage 2 short Shifter on tuesday via UPS.

Note, I threw away the old ground cable that goes under the battery and just put in one of the new ones from the kit. I reused the main ground wire from the transmission but I had to cut it and rettach a 2gauge copper U thingy to make it work, you can see it is the only wire covered in blue loom. (I prolly just voided the warranty on my battery).

That is crazy, but do you really need that to ground, also it looks hella complicated.

That is just a common ground for different parts of the engine bay that could induce some current in the electrical system. Pretty typical/simple design actually... look up some threads that have it discussed.

Kenshin... lookin' good. What kind of pedals covers are those? It's kinda odd that you can see the pedals through those holes.

The pedals I actually found at a local Auto Parts ( I believe Discount Auto) but it was a new store so they had new products. This was the ONLY pedals that I would even consider putting on my tC. Most of the aftermarket stuff at the local stores look like APC junk. Not bad for around $15, they remind me of the ones the dealers have.

wow! so far so good! i like what you've done to your tC! what kind of intake and dome lights are those?! and is there a risk of getting water in an intake setup like that?

looks like the Injen intake. the way that intake is setup, the filter is at the top of the engine bay where there would be no chance of water being sucked in (unless of course you drove into a river or something)

I don't think I like that big crazy thing on top of your battery... and where did you get the kit, b/c I'm almost certain that TRD does NOT actually make a grounding kit.

Hehe, it came in a chinese box, with the TRD logo stamped on the kit. I love those korean knock offs.

Then obviously you don't know what the Injen Intake looks like. That is not the Injen Intake. In fact, I'm willing to be that is a custom intake. Because none of the aftermarket intakes look nothing like that. This is the Injen Intake....
