i have only had my xb for about a month. last week, i had my key get stuck in the ignition..
the car would start fine and i could turn it though all the positions except for the one where i could pull the key out.
once the techs finally got around to looking at it, they ordered the part and put me in a rental for a few days. when they got the part in and went to install it, they found my "rat's nest" accessory wiring under the console and said that may have caused the problem. luckily, they went ahead and fixed up the wires and lumped it into the warranty repair.
