Default Figured out Cam-Con problem.

I had dynoed Friday and turned a 137hp at the wheel. Only problem is the Cam-Con was only throwing more fuel at the lower RPMs. I pulled my air flow sensor this morning and cleaned it. I also, had to go out of town and drove about 50 miles. I noticed when I got on the highway that when I let off the gas up in the higher RPMs that the engoine was bogging down. Like it was too rich. I dialed the fuel down a little bit. Ands now it pulls hard all the way to redline. I think it just took some miles for the ECU to adjust or it was from the dirty air sensor.

Yeah, usually when I do some type of mod that effects the MAF and ECU, I'll drive the xB for about 10 miles on the freeway accelerating gently, park and then turn it off. I wait a few minutes then drive 30 miles on the freeway, and then find a spot to park and turn the car off. After a few minutes, I start back up and everything should be reset and be good to go.

How safe is this? Most serious tuning involves a wide band o2 sensor to ensure accuracy. How much confidence do you guys have in this product?
