well it is a neon, with like what three different body kits ONLY. you can (unfortunately) look at xB's as well with only so few body kits made for it, anyone who does put a body kit on it will most likely look like someone elses somewhere out there...

Yes, right at the bottom of the trunk it does say "Drop the Law." They had stickers and all kinds of crap saying that all over the ugly thing. I wish it wasn't dark out when I took it or I could have gotten some better pics.

Your not the only one. This is what I can make out form the pics.
Going from Left to right with left being 1 & right being 6.
1 = Boost Gauge. Used to measure how much PSI your Turbo/Supercharge is pushing.
2 = Voltage. Used to let you know what kind of voltage your battery is packing.
3 = Water. Used to tell you how hot your radiator collant is.
4 = Oil. Used to tell you the temp of your oil.
5 = ? Looks like oil pressure. Tells you how many PSI your oil system is running at.
6 = ? Cant tell. Maybe a mini tach? Reads from 0-16 in spacing of 2 every time.
The need for all these gauges? To let you know whats going on with your engine. Does the every day driver need them all? Nope.

This pic doesn't do this one justice. It had 2 inch high black letters SATURN on the rear 1/4 panel, and gold paint filling in the Saturn on the rear bumper, mostly...- like you might mistake it for some other plastic car... And a DOHC sticker on the taillight... and various other stickers that made little or no sense..

not to be an asss or anything, but my ENTIRE interior is blue leather and white CF vinyl on the seats... my headliner is blue suede, as well as all my light colored pillars, my paint work will be that same blue, not to mention that the color is very lightly metalic, so you have to be up close t it to really take in its beauty

Just because Scion markets "What moves you" doesn't mean its a new concept. For as long as i can remember, and for as long as i know of, tuners have always built their cars surrounding their needs. If they don't want power they want luxury, for example. Anyone that mods cars is going to do for their own purposes, unless they are building the car for a company. Point is, its always been about what moves you. Scion was just the first company to market this concept and go with it.
No one is talking crap about his car, everyone is giving off opinions about it. Just so happens this is a "rice thread" so, some may consider that a ricey interior with all the colors.

Yep, so deal with it. Not everyone is going to like your car, its a fact. Altezza isn't a type of headlight, its a common word used to describe a style of a headlight, which in reality isn't a "type" of headlight at all. Altezza is a car.

No, personally don't care for a few things you've done, rather choices, but i don't see any "rice parts".
As long as your performance parts actually give you gains, and are functional.. and your exterior mods are done to taste with no type-r stickers, trd stickers all over the place i wouldn't consider it rice.

Well sure it will look better lowered, and handle much better depending on the set up, but i wouldn't say a none lowered car with rims is rice. I will say, however, i think its kind of pointless to start with something like rims. Sure, they look better than stock but i think its funny how someone will be driving a stock car, and think their car has 50hp+ gains with heavy 19's or even 20's on a compact. No offense if you fall in that catigory, just funny.

Its functional with the one little scoop regardless if the others don't serve but the looks factor. If this is rice, 90% of everyone on here has a riced out car. The only thing that sucks about it is the paint matching other than that it looks fine.

OMG, that SUV with the chrome trim, wing on the roof and the Mexican flag on the grill is giving me bad flashbacks to my old aparment :relief: Probably half the cars parked in the lot there were covered with flame stickers, bumper stickers in spanish, mexican flag stickers, tons of dents and scratches, and had huge fart cans. Its a shame I didn't take pictures, maybe if I'm bored one day I'll go back and do just that :P
Probably the funniest thing I saw there: a Civic with an entire front bumper made of bondo. It looked like the guy sculpted a bumper out of clay with his fingers and glued it on there. And no, it was not painted.
Second funniest thing: either the civic with vinyl racing stripes, or the car (some sort of beater, don't remember what type) that had a black garbage bag for a passenger window for TWO YEARS. By the time I moved out the tape holding the bag was yellowed and cracking off.
Probably the saddest thing I saw there: a new looking xB with a GINORMOUS Mexican flag sticker covering the entire driver's door :(

Sorry for the quality, it was rainy and I was already in the middle of the street at this point with traffic coming. Can't tell if it is supposed to be trim accents or safety striping. Guess it works both ways...
I wanted to do the "laugh at rice" thing at it cause the muffler was so loud and it said "Import motor" whatever that means......but I was driving along side em, and I thought better. But I was so excited to catch a shot, I ALMOST did some stupid hanging out the window shot, which would of had me like this shot I took a couple of minutes later of two people not paying attention when driving.

Its not really so much rice as it is just poorly done. White, wood layers and chrome doesn't match or work well together at all. Plus those rims or horrid. Yes, thats my opinion but they look horrible. They also look extremely cheap.

Duh, i mean with all the downforce from the holes in the front he has to make it up with extra downforce in the back to keep it stable at a high speeds. Otherwise crash!
Personally i never did the hole experiment, i do have pins though. I wish i did the holes now, must be a new thing going on. :silly:
the caravan and the impreza arent rict, the van was well done, rims and custom taillights, with a lip kit doesnt make it ricey and the impreza has some go to back up the bling, so those arent ricey

I've seen alot worse.
A subcompact car like a Scion with rims that size would be alot more like rice and alot stupider. This isn't too bad. all he has is the wheels. Theres no idiot bodykit, wing, neon or stickers. It's tasteful for what it is. I wouldn't drive that, but I wouldn't laugh my a$$ off at it either.

Dude I see a lot of nasty things done to cars driven by white trash with rebel flags on them, but I also see a lot of garbage with Peurto Rican flags, or Mexican flags. My point is, if your going to make a piece of trash out of you'r ride, why drag your country down too?
The light changed too soon, so I only caught the tail end. I wanted to get the side with the copious amounts of vents and louvres. There were more nook and crannies than the dash of an xB.

4 different color's and the d plate "flood mats" equals rice if you ask me. None of it flows and none of it goes together. To me, thats rice. If you are going to do a color scheme with the interior, have it match the exterior and have don't have so many colors. To each their own though, if you like it thats cool.

Actually, it's a 93-96 Buick Roadmaster w/ wicked downforce...still a tradgedy...it might actually have had an LT1 in it...

Took these shots week before last.
The speed and trajectory of his car is so stream line. He needs a high drag coefficient when reaching those high speeds
You have to make sure the STOCK hood stays intake when approaching speeds in excess of 30mph. Otherwise the hood will just take flight from being SOOO light weight.
When I was reading this I felt like I was watching an episode of Steve Irwin's The Crocodile Hunter. Hahahahaah...

Honestly, I don't know what is funnier, the ghetto cars with $17 mods, or the riced out economy car imports with $5000 worth of body kit, wings stickers and bullsh*t and still pushing 115 hp and could get their a$$es kicked by a V6 minivan in a race.
I had one of these idiots in a late 90's Civic, full rice body kit, wing, dual exhaust rev up on me today and then he guns it when the light turned green. ALL THIS NOISE blasting out of his fart pipes and I stayed within 2-3 car lengths of him the entire time just accelerating the way I normally do (maybe 80%) with the A/C on. :loser:

I prefer the tuner look wheels. The guy on the right is even sporting some camber. They should have wheelie bars, tho, for a wheel base that short. hehe. It's still longer than the xB, probably...

I wouldn't go as far as calling the Celica rice. What I would say though is that it has an ugly body kit on it and it looks like poop.

Rice doesn't have to require body kits or euro's, or even cheap pep boy hub cap spinners. It just requires some mods that are absolutely pointless that does nothing in terms of performance.
Of course, appearance mods are questionable like this. But as far as i can see, this does nothing to better the looks of this truck so i would say its rice.

agree'd. I love it when you see trucks with a small spoiler, then an extra spoiler mounted on top of the smaller one.

Yeah...I'm still going to have to say that rice applies to a certain "Fast and/or furious" look. Now there is pleanty of bad taste out there, but I disagree that it's rice, rice is someone who subscribes to import looking modifications. With the exception of spoilers there are many vehicles that are not rice just tasteless.
