So someone finally pulled off a legitimate use for a fart-can exhaust- holding up your bumper when the Elmers glue fails to hold it in place. Too bad he didn't go for the dual exhaust to hold up both sides, though. :rofl:

There's actually a bungee cord holding the right side from ripping off completely, but it would stretch enough to slowly grind it with each freeway bump.

I wished I would've got a pic of a similar car a few days later... It had a massive rear lip/bumper but the sides weren't connected, just the back. At freeway speeds, both sides were blowing out like drag chutes and creasing the kit in addition to causing major wind resistance.

I'm going to start carrying my camera everywhere now......lol

Okay, I am not one to rag on anyone about their taste and what they do to their car but you know, living in CA I have seen some stuff that just makes me hang my head in shame. I saw one myself yesterday, it was a new tC, with the biggest spoiler on it I have ever seen, I was in the car yelling at the guy, what have you done you dumba$$ was all I could say.

That sunroof illusion trick is a good one, I did not notice it until I read the post... good eye (to the writer of that one... not the car owner).

It just goes to show you that for some people their taste is all in their mouth. I have but one suggestion to all of them... maybe a trip to the eye doctor is in order for some of these people... :ponder: :question:

There are more rolling totals on the road here than you can shake a stick at. Most recent I have seen are the cars that have visited the tape and bag body shop... I saw a mini van that had been hit in the back, the guy took the time to make a back window out of a black trash bag, reconstruct the rear gate of his van with another color trash bag (pretty closely matched to the paint of the car) then made the gray bumper out of duct tape, oh he had red tail lights too, I have seen two other cars that have done the same thing since I saw the van... strange people out there. I wish I had my camera for that van.

You know I guess the statement "to each his own" really applies on this one.

What at a distance appears to be pearl coat, is in reality a combination of orange peel, drip marks, thin spots and uneven clear. Note the dual cans, and spoiler/rag top stand. I wish I could have captured the lines of the front lip and Trans-Am-esque hood scoop...

Okay, its not the white stripes that distrub me on the viper, it is the "park bench" as some one so elequently put it earlier, I disagree, it is very rice and it most certainly is not a factor spoiler since the factory spoiler is on it too.

I should take pictures of some of the cars in my neighborhood too...the civic with racing stripes (which are vinyl stickers) and the dented-all-to hell neon with sparkly fireball stickers on the doors would be my first two targets.

I see both cars nearly every day (owned by some neighbors, sadly.)

i dunno. that looks like a really cheap lowering kit. plus they used hillbilly chrome to make it stand out. i'd have to call that rice. plus when they tricked out the passenger door they didn't seat it right. coulda been a lot nicer job. just poor workmanship, i'd say.:rofl:

I get all kinds of comments from my Final Fantasy derrived decals to my stock steelies. I don't care....

but to the guy that posted the pic of the previa.. the motors on those can be built and they did come with an all trac system. And that Porsche CAME STOCK with that wing... sheesh... its supposed to be there and is functional.

ummm bling wheels on an import and a wing as tall as the roof is normally considered rice. especially when u got a huge wing on the back of a hatch.

I usually have my camera in the car and now I have a camera phone which works in a pinch. I was trying to grab it last night on the way home but the light changed. Picture this:

92-ish Red T-Bird. Elegante by TYC sticker in the window. (isn't that a taillight? cuz they had the stock ones) chrome fender overlays over all the wheels, chrome-ish door trim on all doors and trunk lid edges and the topper - chrome-ish trim around the inside of the opening in the dealer's plate frame!!! They made this half-baked little semi-square around the opening! I wish I could've captured it...

It's completely shaved (molding, handles, antenna, rear wiper), lowered, 5% tint all the way around (including the windshield) He knows it's not fast and doesn't pretend it is. No exhaust work or anything like that. It's all show no go, but he doesn't make it look like he thinks it's fast. Clear corners, and stylish tail lights. Sorry I dont' have a picture of the back. I think it's good for a Civic though.

There is guy on here with a primered box and I must say its looks very sweet!

In all honesty, I won't knock primer if it's all the same shad and they're not ridin' around in it for what seems to be a permanent situation. But people that have primer and never get paint...that's haggard.

Naw! Beans is like...13 inch spoke rims with low profile tires that stick out 5 inches from the car, virgin Mary murals, their last name in old English style lettering on the back window, crome trim everywhere...stuff like that.

No, those side thingys arent decals. Just a ____ty sanding job or something. The kicker is the only things on the car that is painted are the front bumper and the wing. His windshield banner says DARK SIDE RIDES. :tap: However, I did get a good laugh out of his license plate. Check it out. (if you can't read it, it's WTFB OFF)

The angle is hard to tell. The first pic looks like there could be one. If you look towards the passenger side, it looks like there is some black on the roof, could be a shadow though :eyebrow:

Nope no sunroof on the Orange Accord... Also the xB tails are clear with red those on the accord are just clear with all clear bulbs...

Yea, that orange accord looks fine to me. It's very clean and sleek. But I'm not feeling the sunroof visor and the side skirts. The skirts are a bit too tacky for me.

The oversized skirts are just the tip o' the iceberg, IMO. You guys don't mind the empty intercooler opening and the huge opening for dual dual-tips? On an economy sedan? Park that thing in the steam, it'll be ready in 20 minutes!!!

Hey those crazy japanese cars are rice to us but you know how much time actually goes to making one of those? The red car is more VIP influenced but still they make their own kits and stuff, they cant just go buy them. Thats a type of tuning there believe it or not. I forget what they call the cars like the first ones, but when you pick them up on Katamari Democy on ps2, it just says gangster car LOL.

Wished I could've got the Prelude I saw yesterday, nice looking car except for the giant wing mounted that was pulling the trunk lid up and down against the gasket. If he got the car fast enough to need the downforce, it would probably just rip the trunk lid right off.
