Default Hello New to the Forums. I have a noob question

Hello My name is Keith,

I just ordered a 06 xB from Suburban Scion , Mi . and I have a question for you modders out there.

Im sort of a big guy. ( loosing weight but not fast enough) I was able to test drive the )5 adnd I was a little snug around the stering wheel.

So I was looking for a seat release maybe to drop it back a few and no avial it ws already back to the max. But I did see that the seat was raised up at least 4 to 5 inchs from the floor and there was clearnce to drop the seat some with some changes to the brackets.

On to my question. Is there a kit to lower the seats vertically? Or it is time to customize some brackets?

Im not afraid of a little metal cutting if needed. I mod PC's for a hobby so I have the tools to do it.

Any advice is appreicated. Cant wait to get my hands on my 06 in Sept.

Thanks,

-Tekviper

Have you tried tilting the steering wheel up?

you might be forced into getting an aftermarket set of seats. i know som of the racing seats are much lower and wider.
