i'd rather see and AUX input on the factory head, as well as subwoofer outputs to allow greater flexibility in customizing the audio in the car

agree with this. a lot of people also don't use an i-pod so that would leave a lot of people out.

I use an ipod and it's disappointing that I can't use it with the factory stereo. I say an aux input on the front of the stereo would be the perfect solution.

Problem though, that's a revised system with no incentive for Toyota Corp... If the factory option sub plugs into a harness somewhere, I'd pay $15 for the harness

I'd like to see an I-pod interface, seeing as I just bought an iPod

Here's another vote for an easily accessible aux input jack.

It would be nice if it could be modular, i.e. utiliting one of the empty button holes or designed in a way that it could be purchased as a dealer accessory and retrofitted to exisiting Scions.

Line in AND line out would be awesome. the line out could have a switchable subwoofer crossover at several different frequencies.

A lot of Scion owners want to keep the stock look of the factory deck but need more oomph. The 10 watts allocated to the rear speakers just won't cut it.

One word:

Diesel

I know it will never happen in a billion years though. You have to live in Europe if you want a Diesel Toyota.
