Here's the thing. I have had these for a long time now with no problem but I had my car at the body shop from 11am -5pm yesterday. I go outside last night and notice that my headlight was fogged. I check a few hours later and it's still the same. Guess what, same thing this morning. It's just the one. Maybe a seal broke or something?

Any suggestions on what would cause it and should I go to the place were I bought em or back to the body shop?

It is very normal for those aftermarket projectors
Place I work at now having atleast 10 lights per day having this problem
It happend to ALL aftermarket projecters and altezza lights soon or later

What you should do is remove the lights and use blow dryer to dry all the water in the light

Use all purpose silicone to seal where hosuing and the lense meet. It should help you out with your problem. If its still doing the same thing, well.. good luck because most of these lights carry NO warranty what so ever

Sometimes it is just hard for me to tell my customer... "too bad"

What do you mean dink? But all they had to do was install pieces, not spray anything or takeoff the headlights. Would acetone on the outside cause it to fog on the inside? It is fog, you could see it try and clear up after awhile (like hours).

Just get clear silicone sealer from Home Depot, the kind used for plumbing. Once your lights are dried and reassembeled, run a bead all the way around the seam, to seal them up. We recommend this to our customers for all aftermarket lights, to prevent it from happening, because it almost always eventually happens

By reassembled do you mean I have to take em apart? like the oven mod to seperate em? Damn, I didn't know it would be like this. This was my first aftermarket headlight. They should put this ____ on the box or something. It's only been less than 4 months, what a joke

that happens when you use the wrong type of sealant, or didn't use enough.. that happened to my friend's civic after we installed his black housing.

do as red geine said and then make sure to seal good. that is the one problem when pruchasing aftermarket lights

It's certainly worth trying to use a heat gun or blow dryer to try to dry them out without taking them apart, but it's likely that you will have to - remember the idea is to completely seal them so anything you don't get out will be in there forever.

Maybe that's the reason why the company who makes & imports them went out of business a couple weeks ago??

There is no such thing as real JDM projectors.

And there are only one style available here so if you could show me jdm projectors (not stock bb headlights), then it doesn't matter. I was the first person to install these along with bBist which means there are 2 possibilities. 1- I got some faulty first off product or 2- maybe they all suck but since I have had them the longest, nobody else has had this yet. In that case, I feel sorry for the manufacturer and hope that he did go out of business. I am going with number 1 because I don't want to hurt anyone's business and my car has been thru more hell than most of yours will ever go thru.

ebay didn't even sell these till a month after I had them

Hey Joe!

Your projectors are prob. just a defective set. I haven't had any problems with a single set i've sold, even the set on my car that i've taken the housing apart with. Check you lamp for cracks or damage and especially the corner light bulb socket, since I know we all had to modify it to fit. Try that and if you still have problems, call me or pm me.

Thanks a lot Steve. I totally forgot about the mod to the turn signal but it hasn't had a problem in the past 3 months and I thought it was a big coincidence that I left it at the body shop and that night this problem occurs. Like I said, I know this hasn't happened to anyone else and I have been searchin around and Denny was totally right, this happens to a TON of other cars and they all do the same thing to fix em.

Just take off the light and take a blowdryer to it...
