Default AVIC D1 in my xB (do I need a harness and DIN kit)

I just ordered a AVIV D1 for my xB and I was wondering if anyone had installed this unit in an xB before. Since the "stock" 6 cd changer radio is a pioneer does it have the same wire harness and clip as the D1.. Just curious. I'll find out for sure tomorrow I guess. I willl take pics of the install and post the finished result here as well.

Even though the stock deck says "Pioneer" on it, it shares absolutely NOTHING in common with any aftermarket Pioneer deck as far as connections on the back. Forget the deck even says Pioneer on it.

You'll need a Toyota harness kit from Scosche or Metra and you'll have to wire it to the harness that comes with the D1.

For the D1, you'll also have to run a wire to the vehicle speed sensor wire coming off of your ECU, as well as a lead to the parking brake switch, and if you want to use an option reverse camera (sold separate for like $150), you'll have to run a lead to something that gets +12V when the car is put into reverse (reverse light wire works)
