Default ZPI Exhaust, S-Pipe, Alphawerks Header Video

The exhaust looks great on the car, you can definitely feel the power gain with the combo. I'll be getting my camcon tuned sometime in the next two weeks hopefully so you'll see a dyno graph with the exhaust and after it's tuned. No baseline, but from what i've seen stock tC's have been putting out around 140whp. Only thing I can't stand about the exuast is the sound. Really whiny, there isn't any drone on the highway, it's possible to make the car quiet. But, the exhaust note isn't to my taste. I have a high-flow cat on the way from ZPI that i'll be installing when I get it, that should make the car a little deeper/quieter. I don't think it'll do that much for it but it'll sound a little better.

Wow! That is way too loud (and raspy at times) for me, but that's what you gotta put with for performance. You know you can take off the beeping noise heres a link : http://www.clubsciontc.com/modules.p...ewtopic&t=2602

Haha yeah that is pretty loud, you can hear it echoing off the buildings at the end of the clip A cat (and maybe a resonator?) should help though, I would think.

At least you said you can feel a gain with it though!

that exhaust is not the best sounding exhaust when its on low rpms and speeds, but when its being pushed its quite amazing.

How much you get pulled over is directly related to how you drive. I'd driven an open downpipe dump for almost 3 years, and never once been pulled over for it. I've been pulled over once in the car, and it was for speeding. If you drive normally and let off the gas while passing cops, turn off the car if you get pulled over, and dont rev/race everything you see, you'll be fine. Drive maturely.

again i said i hope he doesnt live in CA.

in california. something tat loud even at idle, cops will harass you for it and will pull u over, write you a ticket for loud exhaust, then will pop your hood and see illegal headers and write you for that, then will look at your tint and write you for that. and if the cop is a real dick he'll write for you for lowered car.

ya CA highway patrol and city cops hate people who have loud exhaust.

It's actually pretty quiet at idle, just a little deep rumble. The sound has gone done just a little bit since I've installed everything, once I get the high-flow cat in it'll be better but I don't think it'll do that much for it. But i'll deal with the noise because it lays down. And I live in AZ so thankfully I don't have to worry about my exhaust/noise around the cops...yet, i've been hearing that they're trying to make it illegal to have an exhaust on your car here, we'll see.

The sound does'nt really match the the car's image. Sounds like it's coming from a primed 95' Accord.

Haha, that's exactly what I was thinking man. When I started it up last week, after I put my parts on, I was like awww wtf that wasn't what I was expecting. I wanted a nice sound like the TRD exhaust has but meh, the gains are nice.

maybe it's the header? ZPI's tC with the DC header didn't sound like that.
