Default clip-on to the air vents

Quick question: Can any of those celphone holders clip on to our vents?

They didn't work for me - vent is pretty loose... then again my phone isn't the lightest...

do what I did, get some 3M mounting pads and just stick the cell phone holder onto the dashboard. works just as well, looks nice too. cell phone holders look tacky on xA vents

I have the windshield suction cup type cellphone and pda holder from Arkon. It works great and is a steal for about $15.

One of our club members has a cellphone holder clipped to one of the vents in his xA. I'll PM him a link to this thread for ya.

Where did you mount it? I've been thinking about mounting my cell or iPod eventually but can't think of a good, accessible, out of the way place.

I'll say it again, if you are looking for a super flexible solution, go with a 9" windshield mount from Arkon or something similar. I got one for my PDA/GPS and one for my cellphone for less than $15 each from buy.com and I can't say enough good things about them.

What I do is to clip the phone into the belt clip holster (Kyocera Slider), then clip the phone onto the visor in front of me.

Works great since the phone has speakerphone and voice dialing built-in, so I can chat all day long with my friends w/o interfering with my vents or holding the phone up to my head for hours.

Other than that, haven't seen any Japanese cell phone holders at the stores with prongs long enough to reach into the oddly shaped xA vents....
