spark plugs
Does anyone know what the heat range number for a stock x/b plug is it #5?. The reason I ask is because the other day I added a bottle of 108 octane to my gas and my blitz s/c x/b ran much better. Sounds like I need a colder plug like a 6 or 7 heat range.
I want to hear from the blitz s/c guys out there, are you still running stock plugs if not which brand and heat range. I guess I could leave the stock plugs and kept adding a bottle of 108 octane every time I gas up, but that might get anoying.

yes...its a #5...try goin w/ NGK BKR6EY...its one step colder, I have them in my motor, im gonna grab a set of BKR7EY's during the tuning process to see whats the best match for my turbo setup.
Vito;
Thank's for the info on the plugs, I will change them out tomorrow. Nice turbo X/B you got, when you get it on the dyno and tune it up let me know what kind of numbers you are pulling down.
You need to get your box down to E-town or Atco to see what beast will run. Low to mid 15 second quarter mile at 90mph Iam guessing.

Vito;
I put in the ngk heat range #7 and did a stock gap. I talked to Jason at blitz and he said that would be fine with a stock gap. On the ngk website it said supercharged engines can redeuce the gap to .028 from .032.
I also talked to two of my turbo friends and they do the same thing also said just buy the 3.00 plug and change them every oil change. I think thats what Iam going to do from now on it's cheap insurance plus I can check to see how my s/c 1.5 is running and holding up to 6psi.
Next time I will try heat range #6 . After that stock heat range and gap at .28 then #7 at .028 then #6 at .028 gap. Hey only 3.00 per plug I can try all the heat ranges and gaps.
I think I will kept adding a bottle of the outlaw 108 octane to every tank of gas it seems to work. Only thing left to do is a 25-40 shot of nos in 4th gear.

I am running the BKR7EY with a gap of .028 on mine. Any forced induction car should get a colder plug with a closer gap. But thats what I am running on mine and it seems to be good...Still no tuning here, but hopefully next week.....
