Default Just got my tints now Im scared

I just got my HP Titanium 5% Limo Tints and I notice on my Rear Window There are like bubbles not really bubbles but like you can say a areas of air looking thing.. Is this natural? The tint people said to wait 2 weeks before you start judging because its very thick film and it doesnt take 3 days but 2 weeks to notice the real film.

your a mrine and your scared? lol im just kidding. you shoudnt have to wait 2 weeks because i have 5 % all around and it was fine after 4-5 days but mine did the same thing and now its just fine. if it stays like that after a week than i would take it back and have them redo it all. good luck,

I worked for a tint shop and if you are seeing very small bubbles, they are actually water. With limo tint it is very thick and sometime the water will take time to evaporate. I has 2 layers of limo on my back window and it took 3 weeks to look normal. If you have a large air pocket, take it back and have it fixed.

Its ok to be a scared Marine. Us Army guys will come protect you. lol j/k. But yes, if they are really small and it doesn't look like there is a center (ie. small piece of dirt) then its probably water. If its hot and dry it won't take long to evaporate. They should be gone in no longer than two weeks, if it isn't just take it back and tell him to do it over.

I recently got my windows tinted 5% also. I was ____ED when I saw bubbles in the tint, and I was gonna take it back after the weekend. Then I inspected it before I was gonna take it back in and the bubbles were gone. So I guess they are right. Just give it a little time before you get mad like I did.

Oh and by the way.....

Go Army!

ANy tint will dry in 3 days in the hot sun anything else is just
BS Titanium is more dense not thicker due to the high metal content but it should still be dry in a couple of days especially in this hot weather if it looks like blsters it should dry if its silver and has a little speck in the middle its dust there is no grey area here it either clean or not hope this helps

yeah that is normal, but if they dont go away in a week take it back, they can use a heat gun to remove them, window tint is porus and eventually all the air and moisture will evaorate.....however it is sign of a good windo tinter if he can tint a window and remove all the airbubbles the same day he tints it, i got mine tinted on monday and had no bubbles what soever......

make sure it's not "air pocket"... only liquid filled bubbles will eventually fade out and flatten...but "air bubbles" will not go away as mentioned.

take a close look at the bubbles and make sure it's fill with liquid..then u should be okay. if you think it's air... i suggest u take it back to have them re-tint it.

that's bullsh*t tint job. I've tinted windows before and I can understand a few bubbles that go away in 2-3 days. But, that picture you have.... Jesus that is a shi*ty tint job. Take it back.

Default tint ?

I have been tinting cars for over 7 years. What your talking about could be normal for a ti/silver film the metal films do take longer to dry because they reflect the sun and heat so well. The metal films sometimes tend to blister or pool the water together when the weather is hot outside. Give the windows a couple of days to dry like the shop said. If the bubbles don't start to shrink take it back. Most good shops will gladly fix windows that are defective. I hope this helps, It has been my experince that when it comes to tinting everyone and their brother is an expert. I am not saying I am the best out there but I will put my work up against anyone else I know of in my area.

Might help dry faster to leave all windows/moonroof fully closed while leaving your car out in the sun.
