who else is sick of hearing about the rs1? i sure am... maybe its cause i didn't get one, maybe its cause there are SO MANY PEOPLE making little "I GOT MY RESERVER ON #2043!!!!!," but whatever it is, its annoying!

rs1's are really cool, but no doubt just because you get an rs1 doesn't mean its worth making new threads every 5 minutes about!!!!

what im really trying to say is...

all you non-rs1'ers out there... lets talk about stuff thats NOT the rs1! DIY, custom paint, everything non rs1 directly oriented. lets talk xB, not RS1xB

i tip my hat to you.... if i had one... but i know how you feel i feel the same way. i havent been on the boards much anymore cause of those threads, and also cause everything is all the same now. your rereading everything all over.

whats so special about the rs1s just cause theyre orange and they have a little emblem that says limited edition. i can go out paint my car baby blue and put an emblem that says "the only one"

I hear ya about the RS-1's but doesn't this add to the thread nonsense?

Truth is, I come here cuz it's fun and sometimes enlightening. Most of the threads on here are useless dribble, but once in a while, someone tells you how to paint their dash, or to stay away from a certain dealer, or where the next small town meeting is.
It would be a dead, boring forum if all we posted was pertinent information.

I have had a RS1 manual trans on order since the beginning and now the dealership says that if it does come in, they are going to keep it for themselves!!! :evil: :evil: If anyone knows of a RS1 with a manual trans in southern Cal, Please let me know! This would make our second Xb in the family so please help me out. Thanks

That is freakin bull____ - I would call Scion and speak to someone way up the food chain and make a formal complaint ! Your trying to find one locally ? I can always ask my dealer here in PA, he is a small dealer, but honest !

i think everything is getting so redundant because how they're releasing them. some people have had theirs for over a year and im excited that i got accepted to put a deposit down and mine'll supposedly be here june 1, but they don't know how many or what kind they're getting in.

i dunno, im still happy that im getting one.

Once Darren adds sub folders to the forums, then there will be a RS1 subfolder in the xB forum, so if you dont want to see the RS1 threads, then you just dont click on the folder, that way you wont see all the RS1 posts in with the regular main xB topics...

The RS1 has gotten to be quite annoying huh? I am sick of waiting for it.

It was cool at first because the hotlava seemed unique....but pretty soon, everyone on here will have one. I bet the camo is more rare now! :D

What you guys that dont want the RS1 fail to realize is that those that wanted one, for what ever reason, made the decision to wait for something special. Kinda like a kid at Christmas time, waiting for that bike, or special toy. To us; the future owners of a RS1, this is our Christmas. I am the hardest guy to find/buy things for. It drives me nuts when people try and do the right thing and buy me stuff. But, when i spot something that tickles my fancy, i go for it, full throttle. The RS1, with all the little bells and whistles, and the unique color, this pulls me in and wanting it more and more each day.

I cant speak for others, but i know i check here frequently for updates on the delivery of these cars. I have found out more info here then i can from my dealer. Give it a couple of more days, a week at the most, and everyone will have their RS1s, and then the boards will be silent. Those of us who have the new xB, will be too busy driving them to post needlessly here to annoy those of you looking for meaningful information.

ok, i just found out my xb's supposedly gonna be one of the first 05's out and they say they're gonna honor the 04 price. maybe this gives me a little incentive to wait, does this make me cool??

This brings me back to an issue that would solve all of this whole FCC censorship nonsense over a lil "wardrobe malfunction" if you don't like what your watching/listening/reading don't watch/listen/read it...

Most topics have RS1 in the subject line...if you don't like it don't click it...I see threads all the time that I have no interest in all the time and I don't click them!

Yeah but is it any different than the numerous other "I got my xB today" posts? These posts were around well before all of the RS #xxxx Posts. And I'll bet that even if there were 2100 posts(highly unlikely) of I got #xxxx they will still be outnumbered by the "I got my xb". People are excited to be part of something new(Scion as a brand) and we should welcome them to ScionLife.

As a future RS 1.0 owner I actually find it interesting to see where each of the numbers are coming out of. And yes I know Doc's registry is there but(and Doc please take this right way cuz I love what your doing) it's a little un-organized and difficult to figure out where everyone of them is. Great idea though I'd personally like to see maybe a breakdown not only by number but by state as well. Maybe even a graphical representation of it.

Realistically, we ( Scoin Life ) may end up with what, 20 individual threads stating " I got # _____ ". Im telling all you guys/gals, give it a week or 2 more, and then all the hype will be over. Then the boards will sit idle till about mid May, just before the tC is scheduled to be released, and then it starts all over again.
