Im thinking about purchasing the black cold air intake from injen and i was just wondering if this product affects gas mileage in anyway. whether it increases or decreases it.
Thanks for the help.

injen CAI = an increase in mileage = not much spending on gas  :)
drive normally and you will save gas. but if u want the sound, u will waste gas. im sure you will keep punching the gas for the first few days. everyone does. lol just for that sweet sound

You'll actually decrease your mileage, cause there is no way in hell that you will not rev it higher just to hear the sound it makes. It's a beautiful (and addictive) sound...
Unless you have good self control....
If your worried about it hurting mileage day to day, it won't be by it's design... it'll be by your foot.

So true when I got the Race division CAI installed on my Celica GT thats all I id was constantly tap the gas to hear it suck air and while driving I would push it to get the roar of the intake such great sounds but you will suck gas along with the sounds...
