View Full Version : I got the TWM shifter today!!! subcode 03-18-2004, 08:29 PM Whoo hoo....just got it today... My TWM Performance short shifter....mmm! not to many parts just a bar and a washer?...the instructions look easy..after it's install,(Randy of Randole Racing is helping me) my TSW members will probably check it out first....can't wait to get it installed... stay tuned..... mikochu 03-18-2004, 10:18 PM Pics! I need pics!!! subcode 03-20-2004, 10:01 AM no problem but the pictures in the TWM instructions are excellent. I understood them perfectly..but I had Randy do the work ... see how the shifter is shorter and the angle is not so bended....all in all everyone who drove my xA, was literally blown away by the difference...the notchiness is still there but the height and shifter travel is radically noticable shorter. Vidal peel first to a almost smoky burn out before he power shifted to 2...my TSW members that was me and Randy and Jason in the car(4 people) with Vidal driving.... was all grins....yeah it's the shiznit !....for sure!!! check out the length of the bar uninstalled... http://img21.photobucket.com/albums/v63/subcode/128-2840_IMG.jpg scionracerxA 03-20-2004, 02:02 PM All I can say is that I'm not longer going to be getting the TRD quickshifter. I tried that puppy out, it is something to go for, absolutely something I am going to get.. The shift knob is now about 3" shorter than stock and the throw is about 50% shorter. Its really a nice part! |
