I love the sound of the RSR exhaust!! Can anybody tell me if the RSR exhaust will fit the an xA? I figure it would since they're the same engine but another part of me thinks it wont because theyre different chassis. Can anybody confirm this???

 

The xB and the xA are different when it comes to exhaust systems. So no the RSR for an xB will not fit the xA.

Anybody know if the JIC sounds as clean as the RSR?

 

The JiC is louder than the RSR, I have heard both of them. BUT the JiC can be toned down with the insert that comes with it.

 

ive been wanting the rsr myself, you can get one for the xA at scionstuff.com or something, and good luck finding info about it because no one will post a reply, unless its a magikal day....trust me.... but if yo get it let me know if it rocks the ****, I wont be getting it until I pay off the rest of my credit card! where did u hear the exhuast note by the way?

sound like virtually any custom exhaust

 

The JiC canisters are smaller in diameter than the RS*R set-up, so it will be louder.

JiC axlebacks are known to be loud.

 

i was told that a custom exhaust wont do much to this engine unless you go f/i. Is this true? I was gonna go with a custom exhaust setup, 2.25 with either a buddy club Pro SPec muffler or the JiC Type 2 muffler. But since i was told that an axleback is better for now then ill go with the RSR.
