Default How do the door caps fit on?

This is gonna sound stupid, but I have the mini chrome bB/xB door caps for mine. I set them on but they dont seem to snap or anything and I'm afraid to push down hard on them. Do they clip in or somethin? Do they snap on or is it glue on?

The way I have it, makes them wobble and just fall off when I shut the door. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. They just dont sit there right IMO. Theyre authentic and not the cheapy knockoffs going around.

I also got 2 bB bibles, and in both they show the direction of the mini bB, facing in the direction of the actual car. So thats correct. Any help you can give me would be awesome.

Thanks

Scott

Scott-I would not glue! Doesn't the door panel go over this? I forget I will have to look.

If you have authentic bB door lock button caps, they are supposed to snap into place. If you have inmitations or copies, don't push too hard or they crack. Best bet would be to use some double sided tape or something.

no. got them from a local guy.

i found out what the problem was... i was being a sissy about pushing on them. a good way to do it, is grip on the door lock with some channel locks, and then push down the cap hard.

i was afraid to just push down on the lock being afraid i would break it. they DO snap in. just have to push hard until you hear it pop on.

thanks Brad and Fujiz for the help

theyre on and looking good!
