i had em installed with my H&R race springs, iv only driven the car home from the place but since it was in the rain i couldnt do much lateral testing (tha stock potenza's suck)
but the car feels idk so much more agressive, it doesnt wobble like a boat anymore around corners sure its got body roll still but its nuthin sum sways or stiffening the shox wont fix. here's more info http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=974729#974729

ok u guys i hade more chance to test the set up today and all i have to say is... wow how do i explain, ok before in the tC i would have to really slow down before doin any of the crazy turns because i knew how unpredictable it was expecially in fast S type curves. since i knew how wobbly and unstable the car was at high speed turns i would have to really slow down in order to take certain curves and maintain control.
BUT NOW... idk u guys it feels like THIS is how the car was ment to be i dont have to slow down at all, and barely ever have to use my brakes. when driveing it earlier today i just couldnt stop smileing u guys. ok so what improved was the stability, response, and agility through quick curves. the ride confort has gotten only a tiny bit bumpier but u wouldnt notice if u didnt know the reason why.

sure i still slide in the monster corners but i know thats because of the crappy potenza's that will be replaced in a week or so so it doesnt matter

I got a good question.. why are the Tein Basics so cheap.. You can get them for $715 from a ScionLife membership discount... What is the difference if you were to get either H&R/Tein H-Tech springs with Koni struts, as compared to Tein Basics... You're almost spending $400 more on the spring/strut setup and I'm just a bit curious because a lot of my WRX friends are wondering how coilovers could be so cheap unless they are not as good as Tein's usual hardware? Any ideas anyone?

not sure about the teins but my koni's are garanteed for life, if something goes wrong with em at all or they get worn out they get to be replaced for free

koni shocks are adjustable rebound, tein basics are only height adjustable.

yeah seriously u guys all i have to do is open the hood and turn the knobs thats how eazy it is to adjust the fronts, the backs though... not quite the same, u have to remove it and compress the piston all the way down and turn the whole piston itself to adjust it :(

how stiff is the lowest setting? softer than stock? where abouts is it roughly equivalent to stock (give full range and how far to go, like 'it goes x turns, and stock is about x turns'). thanks!

i have no idea were stock is man all i know is i had mine adjusted so the front is a half turn more than they came in the box and my rears are a full turn stiffer, the fronts feel perfect and tight but the rear still feels too loose. so instead of getting the rears re adjusted im planing on just geting a progress rear sway bar
