Default For all wanting to do Electronics in the tC

Several days have passed. and i had run across several problems. the directed 530T window module. (2 windows two directions.) will not work due to the cars computer system. you will have to use (2) 529T's (one window two directions. two windows one direction) and wire each to each motor in the door, for them to funciton properly. also, if you are doing a remote start, MAKE SURE that the Keysense wire is disconnected. and you just use the status output from the module to the keysense. This will bypass the factory alarm and will not shut down the (U). next week. 5 TV's. and a Kenwood touchscreen 7015. we'll see how that turns out.

I'll let you all know. until next time. -tcguru -out.

Never dug the screens in the doors. Too Pimp my Ride for me.

Right up there with Screens on the hood and stuff.

But should be a points winner.

Good info on the power windows though!

the big dash space about the glovebox ?? are you talking about the XB ? there is no big dash space above the glovebox ....?!?!? the airbag in the tc is directly above the glovebox.

if you read closely. you would have seen that i said (where the passanger airbag is located) so yes. the big dash space above the glovebox where the passanger airbag is located. (the bag will be taken out ofcourse.) *** airbags =-D

you might have enough room above the glovebox to leave the Airbag in.. the airbag is far back in the dash..

Default ok.

well first off. no its not a law enforcement to have airbags. second. there is enough room to work around a coupple things in the passanger side. and third. not bieng safe without airbags. bah. airbags i think kill more people then save. *** airabgs. people seemed to do alright back in the 60-70'z with there hotrods with no airbags... but all personal opinion. and yes.. it will still turn out cool. thats all that matters.

well thats funny. becuase directed has confirmed that the 530 does not function,. *(and i personally know from installing one) went directly to the motor on each door. *passanger yellow and green, driver yellow and pink both a - *

now for some reason only one window will function properly with the 530. when both are connected.

dont know why and plus with the 530 it changes your "one touch" feature, the 529 keeps it working the same.

so in turn only the 529 on each door will function the windows properly.

I agree, airbags can be removed, it is ok with my insurance cmpany(state farm) the CA insurance commisioner(I asked) and does not effect any sort of warranty issue.

I am in OR now and have not asked, still ok with my Insurance company so not going to bother asking the state government.

I have removed every airbag in my last 4 vehicles, they only are good for certain things in an accident and bad for others. I would rather be safely seated in a race quailty seat with a harness for any crash, hmm, no airbags in racing that I have ever seen

I started to install the window module, even wired the doors then started hearing all these issues and decided I really do not need it, one touch up and down from the factory is good enough for me
