Im about 135 miles south of spokane. Yesterday was terrible! There was a fire just north of here that got out of control. They set a backfire to try and stop it and the backfire got out of control. The wind started blowing and before we knew it we had ZERO visibility! Dirt, ash and smoke powered by 50-60 mph gusts. My box was a MESS when I woke up today. Ash will mess up a paint job quicker than anything!

I have an old navy bud that lives in a small town just N of Spokane, a suburb actually. He owns a custom auto upholstery shop there. Used to do some great work when I knew him in the late 70's. Lee Henning is his name.
Them fires out west sure get out of hand so fast sometimes!

They really do. It has been VERY dry here and if the wind isnt blowing something is wrong. I live in a big valley so the smoke from other fires settles here. Kinda sucks. I try my best to keep her shiny!
