Depends on the maker of the hood. My bbist hood has no nozzles, but other companies do. I just carry a spary bottle of windshield fluid in my trunk.

my vis techno r hood has 1 nozzle in the center. most have 1 or none to clean the look up more. you can buy a hood without the nozzles and cut the holes yourself. good luck!

I've got a motorfx cf hood. you could see where the nozzles go but the holes weren't drilled when I recieved...none of the holes. I had to drill out all the spots for the insulating mat on the underside

Are there hoods out there that are pure carbon fiber or are all of them made with fiber glass too? Sorry I know nothing about CF.

Yes. It's not so much for heat insulation as it is for noise reduction. I drove my last car for a good 20,000 miles without anything happening to the hood, mat removed.

yes my cf hood didn't have any nozzle holes. but on the bright side the hood looks more clean looking without the nozzles. As with my nozzle tubes i just took them out and put in in my glove box . I took the tubes were they connect to the main tube line off. I never did use the windshield washers even when i drive my civic. and same with my Tc. got my hood at kreativeimports.com

If you've got a header, i'd consider the insulating mat, as I'd definately be worried about it due to the intense heat my header puts on my mat right now... I'm quite sure it would at least bubble a two sided hood with the heat.

I run a DC sport header, and i've had my hood since Oct 04', it doesn't put off enough heat to bubble a double sided CF hood.
