I know a few of you xB guru's have removed the top section of the dash. Has anyone posted any step by step directions or tips for doing so?? If so, please post again. If not, please post now! :D

Alright you gurus.....I want to paint the two silver, center vertical dash trim
pieces that on each side of the radio......can someone tell me how these two
pieces can be removed safely, how are they held on?

pull the climate controll knobs off..... undo 2 screws seen there... gently pry up the edge on one side or the other... easy to start off at the lower edge near ashtray location.. then there is a plug to undo from the back....
