View Full Version : What makes the Injen intake so loud? chadfo 08-17-2005, 05:38 AM Didn't know it was louder than others. I can only hear mine when changing gears and trying to go fast. It makes a shrill gasp noise. Other than that I'd never know it was there. I_dont_know 08-17-2005, 09:37 AM well, from experience, the shorter intakes usually do make more noise. also, the larger the diameter of the intake, and the more free flowing the filter, the more noise it will make. Given i have the AEM snake one, i did have an 88 200sx which i fabbed a short ram and my bro has a short ram on his pt.
