I ordered front and rear . They add the logo all you do is make sure they know you want it. They have it but it doesn't show it on their web site for a scion one but they do have it. Call instead of online order so they can get things strait. They are open on saturday also .

wet okole seat covers are neoprene. From what i know, they make one of best seat covers in the U.S., custom made and fitted for almost every car there is.

They seem to fit really well, look great. How durable/comfortable is Neoprene? Haven't ever sat in a seat made w/it.

The print they used on there demo is HIDIOUS! Guess it fits in Hawaii though...

$250 is damn close to some pep boys replacement seats. that you could spill all the coffee in the world on.

I agree, $500 for a full set is way too expensive. For a 15K car, that is.

I think if you want it to last you buy the best. And do you think you can buy a hot lava replacement seat your dreaming. And original is the way to go. But you think pepboys is the way to go. You mother buys at the 99 cent store to . But not everyone thinks the same way. If you spend 2000 dollars for rims and tires 500 is no big deal. It all about style.

isnt that going to make your car smell like a dive shop? i'm just asking.

my dad had those in his truck, took them off cause they retain smells... you can't get rid of smells out of them... make sure you wear a shirt too when you drive and that your ___ isn't hanging out rubbing the neoprene... that stuff will make you sweat then your sweat will get all stanky in the covers... they are nice material though, really good quality, just neoprene you gotta spray with fabreeze or something everyday.

They will be here in several weeks . And I will post the pics as soon as I find out how. Does anyone know how? As for the smell they are washable.

Ahhhh shucks - now I'm not going to buy a seat. I was going to buy them to protect my seats from the flour and other crap I get covered with when at work (Papa John's), but since they absorb smells, they'll absorb the pizza smell. Darnett!!!!

okole is, I believe, Hawaiian, for butt, or a$$. Okole-puka is, oh, you guys can figure it out. At least it was when I was stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Kaneohe Bay, way way back in the '70's.

Any seat or seat cover will collect smells . That is the reason for the cover. They are washable and repairable. Thats why they are so expensive . They are not for everyone but if you want protection for your investment then you have to decide . Good seat covers are almost impossible to find.

Yes Okole is but... wet butt to all the mainlanders... and dive shops offer wetsuit cleaner that I use on all my dive gear.. gets rid of all the funky funk...

It took 3 hours to put them on. It keeps everthing original so it will be worth more years from now.

I am not sure it looks like a felt sticker but you cant remove it . Maybe its silked screened or something.

Rayman
04-17-2004, 03:07 PM
That's cool I guess you can remove it or change it if you get bored with it.

digidj
04-17-2004, 03:12 PM
It cant be removed without causing problems. Next week my orange carbon dash kit gets delivered. They got behind and they shiped it on thursday. I still need to have a few custom orange carbon pieces made after the install. All I need to make is a template and send it to them.

I cant wait until its over with. Puting the dash pieces on will be stressful to get every thing straight . Their are alot of pieces in this kit.

Those look hot on the Lava box...couple questions

How hard were they to put on?

and

Do they cover the Bag Hooks on the back of the front seats?(not a major concern but I'd still like to know)

The fronts were easy but he back took some time to do . I did it by myself so if you have help it goes alot faster. The hooks are not blocked they sewed in holes so you dont have to worry.

I'm digging the seat covers digidj. Nice job!
I really like the steering wheel. How did you get that, and how would it be possible for me too.
I hate the OEM one.

digidj
04-18-2004, 01:43 PM
The steering wheel cover is a Wheelskin cover . The orange is a special color and you cannot buy directly from wheelskin. Afterthoughts auto in texas bought their own orange leather and wheelskin makes them and drop ships them to . Its very fast service so very little waiting.
