Default Bazooka Sub Just Arrived!!

UPS just dropped of the new Bazooka Sub/rear spoiler/cargo cover/floor mats/ exhaust tip that I bought off of

http://stores.ebay.com/SCION-WAREHOU...Q3amesstQQtZkm

Looks like it's going to be a busy weekend installing things on the xb. Just for clarification: The 2006 xb's are NOT PRE- WIRED for a bazooka sub. The install manual is 15 pages long! [/url]

Are the floor mats the upgraded xB mats? I see the part number but can't tell if it's the new one.

Actually they are the older fabric/style. Whe I picked up our new 2006 xb a couple of weeks ago it came with the new style floormats which I dodn't care for so I ordered a set of the old style instead

Personally I think a sub without an amp and aftermarket HU is useless. Just my opinion though.

The tC offers three sport shift *****. The first is has an "ergonomic" shape to fit the palm of the hand, featuring a fine wire mesh insert. The second is a brushed stainless metal ball. The third **** is a brushed stainless metal ball with a fine wire mesh top surface. All three shift ***** can be fitted to an automatic shift lever with a polished alloy-finish extension piece.

Whoa, look at the last sentence. How does that work?

Just your opinion

If you go the route I went you don't need an aftermarket HU and you'll still have a kickass system. My investment in upgrades totals $400. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=68068

Personally... aftermarket stereos all depend on the person. If your a bass head don't go with the packaged Bazooka option, thump it out with some heavy hitting subs and amps. But if you just want to expand the sound a little by adding some bass, the bazooka's are nice.

THe xb is mostly used by my wife during the week for work, but....I get to tool around in it on weekends. I'm not looking for a bass monster here, just some added bass. The Bazooka will fill that need. As for an afterrmarket HU, the factory unit fills all my requirements. But, an aftermarket amp under the fromt passengers seat is an upcoming project using a wiring harness bought of ebay.

Same here for now. I added an infinity powered sub and it sounds fine for my needs. If you play around with the settings on the factory head unit you can get pretty decent sound out of it. I'm waiting for some decent (cheap) head unit when I replace it. Will have to have DVD though.

Which Infinty? I recently put the Infinity BassLink behind the sets in my Ranger extended cab and it works great for that application

good luck.. in my experience that's an oxymoron. DVD dash units are expensive.. mine was $2500.

It's a BassLink. The small one. I know there is a bigger one now. It sounds good for the price I paid. Here's a link.

Yeah I know it's wishful thinking. Saw a couple on crutchfield though around $1299.00 with a screen. There is a DVD only unit from JVC that's like $299.00

I like the price but don't really care for the brand.
