Yeah, it happened to me tonight. I just brought home my RS1 #396. I have to dress it up now, so ill post pics when the wife gets her B-day present tomorrow tonight; she gets her digi camera. To all that are waiting still, its worth the wait, and i hope yours is delivered very soon.

Well finally, after _____ing and complaining for so long and blaming Scion for screwing the pooch on the whole process, my car arrived at the dealer yesterday. The dealer happens to be almost 200 miles from me....so now the last week of waiting is my fault...
My other half is on the paperwork with me, and has several large assignments due this week, this is her last semester before graduation, so I have to wait til next friday to go pick it up. But when I do, the wonderful guys at Waldorf Scion will already have it tinted and have the rims on it. The only thing that really bothers me is it will sit there for a week getting drooled on and finger fuc##d. But next friday I will go pick up my baby, Hot Lava xB Release Series 1.0 Limited Edition Number 0250!

Just over 4 hours later, and im finally done. I took my time, so as not to scratch the paint, and now the only thing left is the vinyl for the business. What did i do you ask.... Shaved the xB off, no Goo Gone needed .... Installed the TYC tails .... Installed the rear cargo liner, fits like a glove .... Cleared my head lights .... Installed the Injen intake .... Added the BSA 259s ( which have a nice 2 1/2" chrome lip ) wrapped in 215/45R17 Nankang rubber.

I just got back from breaking in the engine, and the car runs like a dream. Stereo kicks ___ too, when selected to "Feel".

I feel for ya House, i really do, but know that if i got mine, and Doc got his, then PA is next. And when you get yours, you have the same stupid look on your face that i have on mine .... :lol:

House and all the other PA guys, i cant see your wait being much longer. Doc received his Friday, mine came in on Sat. so PA cant be that far behind. I wouldnt be surprised if they are there already, and the dealers will call all you PA guys/gals on Monday.

Bobby, yes i did use the floss method. I took off the emblem and left the grey sticky tape on the car. Then i ever so carefully just peeled back the grey tape, and it took off all the goo with it. No need to use Goo Gone at all. I decided to leave the Scion emblem there, it breaks up the orange in the rear.

Its funny to look at such a boxy lil car, and see over it. Its like a mini version of a SUV. On a side note, while i was filling out the paper work, several people took notice of the lil lunch box and kept drooling over it. While i was finishing financing, a couple drove into the lot in a Viper GTS ( blue with white stripes ) to look at a 4 runner, looked at my box, and stated ... " nice little car, the first thing i would do is take out the engine and something bigger in, make it a drag car...." My wife was there with the car, and started to laugh.

Still have miles of smiles .... :lol: This box is unique to say the least.

Of course, I'm in Conn Mon-Wed :). I'm sure my dealer has one and it's AT so they're not even going to call me. I'd take the Auto if they made it up to me on cost somehow. Maybe I'll tell them that.. since my knee hurts from shifting my wifes Cherry. :twisted:

That's awesome CB congrats....I'm sure you'll will enjoy your new car....I know the wait was tough for some of ya...there's was a lot of misinformation out there...but I'm so gald you guys weathered the storm.......ohh yeah and Doc don't worry I got your car up on a lift so everyone can see it...looks good too....I don't think anyone's put a finger in the exhaust yet :P :wink: ......but if anyone tries to I'll stop them ....we do have a towel there to wipe off the Drool though :P :wink:
