So I just got my new custom exhaust done yesterday...went with a 2.5" from the turbo downpipe back to a 2.5" high flow cat, then straight pipe back to the bend in the axle to the magnaflow muffler. I turned up my fuel pressure a lil bit and the thing is kickin like a beast now. Off to the dyno tommorow to see what kind of power im gonna be putting to the wheels...wish me luck everyone

I just dont wanna blow my box up on the dyno...thats the only reason why I was asking for everyones blessings
Hopefully all will go well and I will put down some decent numbers.
Watch those front axles.
PM me I'll give you Glenns number in Cali. Who broke two on the dyno. He has a guy who makes stronger ones. Best of luck. I always have fun burning fuel and going no where.

Aright...so after a couple of hours and a few pulls and test drives, we came to 123 whp@ 5-6psi(auto tranny on 19's). We came to the conclusion that the stock intake is seriously choking me out and anything above 9 psi is causing the MAF sensor to wig out and throw it into a limp mode. We adjusted the A/F settings on the Camcon but did not attempt to dial in the cams until I get a intake fabbed up. What we are going to do is do a standard inlet pipe, with a larger diameter for the MAF sensor to be placed in than stock to help slow down the airflow. I am going to run a vacuum hose directly from the wastegate to the vacuum block and cap off the turbo to pick up a couple psi and maybe another 8-10 whp. We definitely have some more work to do, only problem is the guy I was dealing with wasnt too enthusiastic about the whole project to begin with. He is more involved in rotary monsters, and something this small of nature doesnt really appeal to him. I know there is some extra HP lurking around somewhere in this little block and believe you me I will find it. Consider this stage one...overall I am still happy with a 30HP gain over stock...too be continued
I honestly never had one problem with the MAF flipping out, so in this case I would assume it is the CAM-CON causing the problems. I only had one code ever, and that was the P0172 bank 1 too rich code. The downpipe kept blowing gaskets because of the poor mating surfaces that it had when I got it from TSI. I resolved that when I installed my 2.5" exhaust.
I would suggest eManage + autotune (a special box built by an enthusiast to fight OBDII ECU troubles). It will automatically lock AFR's @ WOT to 12.5:1, which is around where want to be.
Furthermore, when using eManage, you have the option to change your MAF to something larger without issues.
