Default xB Turbo

I am looking for people who want turbos on their xB's without spending $3600 for the Greddy Kit. I am partially sponsored my a company who is mocking one up. It will cost $2000 for everything, manifold, turbo, intercooler, piping and all other realated parts. The turbo is a T3 and will throw down 180 whp on the bo. Let me know if you are intersted is the kit, we need to find 10 people who would be willing to buy the kit. If you would like anymor einformation please call me after 430 EST for more info.

a T3 is WAY too large for a 1.5L engine that only turns 6k rpms.

Good luck with your 5-6k only powerband and restrictive 1-5k

T3 no way, way too much for an xB block remember its practially an Echo. Don't get me wrong love my xB but the only stock block in this range that could handle such a turbo on a stock block with minimal boost is a Honda D or B block and thats even pushing it if you are boosting 1+BAR.

Anyhow no sense in talking about the Greddy Turbo Kit it has been discontinued for several months now, only thing going for us is the Power Enterprise (JDM) Supercharger kit which will give about 140whp. Its roughly $3000 but not worth it considering most cars will still smoke you but you will smoke all xBs

Also the blitz supercharger kits are out there. As for this kit, I guess I could see how it makes 180whp. That would be at WOT & I bet the power band is still on the rise from the turbo surge going on, just that the engine cant rev that high Only way I would even think about a kit like this, is if I had it in full righting & legal documents stating that any damage to any of my driveline components, would be replaced by you.

sounds cool. what are these "other related parts"? 180whp would be more than doubling what we get stock, and im just curious to know if an engine and drivetrain rebuild will be a necessity (unless the said parts are part of the $2000- which i'm doubting?)

cant wait to hear back from this company!

14b maybe.. a T3 is waaaaaay to big for our tiny motors

Edit ** its really not too big... but i know that most of the people interested would mess with the boost levels.. and that would be too much.

if it did push 180 you would be looking at major upgrades to everything...new clutch for people with 5 speed...probably transmission upgrade, flywheel, pressure plate, injectors, and a lot of other things...so the 2000 price tag wont include the other hassles as well...

Turbo map a T3 with the amount of CFM the 1nz moves. That's enough proof.

pipe dreams.my friend. pipe dreams
once all is said and done after a few motors have blown you will have about 140 whp and be VERY dissappointed yet still sell it and try to take back all claims of 180 whp.

ok. Put it this way. I would think about this kit if:

You gave a full listing of everything the kit will come with & what other items will be needed to make the kit run right. If the parts used are from trusted brands & not some no name company. If we could see a live video of a xB on the dyno with this kit & what numbers it lays down + what was done to make it get those numbers.

Only then would I think about this "kit". As it stands @ a cost of $2k, I could have a idea of what the current parts list looks like:

1. T3 Turbo.
1. Intercooler.
X. Piping/Plumbing.
1. Turbo Exhaust Manifold.
1. Air Filter.

Thats maybe what you would get for $2k.

This seems like a good chart to look at http://www.turboneticsinc.com/downlo...urboMatrix.pdf
