Thanks they have been sent. By the way all of the XB's had a Greddy turbo kit on them.. The owners did not let much information go, however they are using the kits with 4psi. Not a lot but the kits were clean!!

good question.. anyone?

ok... DAMN... the orange one is badass but not all that great i think they could have dne a better job with the front fenders. that part just messes it up. but thats what i think. also i love the way the tailgate thing whatever you wanna call it comes out and is a little stage for the DJ.. MAD PROPS for that. another thing nice job with the wide body. i have that idea in my head and was wondering how it would look.

Thanks Doc for posting the pics... One of the XB's belongs to a shop here in town called Racing Zone, I have ask my bro to talk to his friend that works there to find out the price and specs. The kit has to be available because all 3 had them on there, they all had the e-manage unit for fuel management. The real question is does it require bigger injectors, and what's the recommended boost level.

heh, thread evo:

Pioneer xB => Greddy xB => props about the pioneer => "i just want that turbo" => where can i get one? => it all depends on the boost => TANGENT CENTRAL!

ps. I love that pioneer xB, its very very simple, widebody, some vinyl, i like how they didn't do the small vinyl stickers on the body, but instead on the window. that has to be one of the most tasteful xB's i've seen to date.

It's hard to see in the pics but the pioneer has a flat screen in the rear window.. It was sick.!!!

The one you see with the polished piping also had the turbo polished. The kit should have come with the blue piping standard. Up close the you can tell on the turbine that it was aftermarket polished.

Ok Here is the specs on the turbo kits..

Turbo: TF-035HL 14GK (6cm exhaust housing)
Greddy Kits run 4lbs of boost..
Injectors:Stock
FCU: Has to be modified for the USDM Models..

I would safely say at this point it's not worth getting this kit if the recommended boost is only 4 pounds..

i dunno... that is ugly as hell to me... I'm not even against widening body.... And I have to admit, they really did it not disrupting the design flow of the body...

But, this is what I exactly call the American Butcherization... For Xb, it started with the cow dot Xb...

am I being too mean today?

I don't think its bad exactly, but I do like the idea that its not a carbon copy of everyone else's work, and not some mid 80's played out mini truck style...

Come by and see the Widebody Xb Mobile DJ custom designed and built by FIVEaxis this weekend, April 2-4, at International Auto Salon (IAS) located in the Los Angeles Convention Center. It will be on display in the Scion booth.

This vehicle has been extensively modified including a 4" chopped roof and a 8" wide body kit. It also houses a complete mobile DJ entertainment system in the rear consiting of 2 turntables, 2 Pioneer CDJ 1000 CD turntables, and a 4 channel mixer powered by and through a Pioneer 20 speaker audio system. DJ's will be on hand to demonstrate this vehicle's unique feature and spinning the latest in Hip Hop and House music.

See ya there!!!

Thanks to Troy Sumitomo. I am glad that he called me last weekend and extended an invitation to check out the xB. The shop like Denny said is phenomenal.
Great guys. Hemming did a great job drafting up the design. Scion Corp. should definitely give FIVE axis a tC to fix up.

If you are in the Los Angeles area this weekend..come and check out Five Axis xB at the Scion booth loaded with all that Pioneer gear.
It looks so much better in person.

The wheels are not availible for sale. It was strickly a one-off design made specifically for the Scion Widebody DJ.

If you like to see Budniks collections go to www.budnik.com. They specialize in Hot Rod and full size pick up applications.
